I ordered the butter and ube mamon expecting fresh, in-house baked goods from a bakery. That's what Red Ribbon uploaded to Uber Eats. What I received was a packaged, ultra processed food-like product filled with chemicals and additives that no home cook or real bakery would ever use. This is not a baked item. It is a manufactured product dressed up in store branding to pretend it is something artisanal.

The listing gave no indication that this was a shelf-stable, factory-style item. I placed my order in good faith, trusting that the word bakery still meant something. Instead, I received a chemical-laced sponge wrapped in a lie.

If you are going to sell pre-packaged industrial-grade goods, label them honestly. Do not insult your customers or their health with deceptive presentation.

I came in looking for a cake for my coworker’s birthday . I asked for the Mango roll . I noticed the best before date will be bad in 3 days . I requested the cashier for a newer one and they refused to give me the newer stock and proceeds to give me the closest to his reach . I asked for a newer stock as the event I’m going to is in 3 days which is when the cake “expires” .

The cake turned out to be dried out as it was an old one . Previously working here , we’re instructed to give out the “older” ones and keep the new ones in the back .

The food was great, I got a bunch of empanadas to try, pork, beef, and chicken. All really good, the cakes are great, no problems. I want to make a point that the young man working Sunday at 12 is spectacular. He is doing his best. Maybe management wasn't expecting that many people to come in at this time, but there was a bit of a line starting. And he was by himself, making drinks and taking orders. I had a door dash order to pick up, and I didn't get to check in with him, so I just grabbed my order. But I really think there should have been someone there helping him when the line got longer.
