Like other post if I could give this place zero starts I would happily do so. I used to love this bar, but after dealing with Tony I’m highly disappointed. In my line of work I understand private property and respecting posted policy’s. That being said after coming to this bar multiple times bringing in new people as often as I can, I was turned away over my girlfriends skirt. We had just left a night swim and Tony claimed there was a policy on “no backwards hats, guys can not wear tank tops, and stuff like that”. Tony claimed that due to managers being on duty me and my girlfriend had to leave because he could not serve us. The more I talked to Tony and asked him to provide or tell me where I could view these policies because I have never once been turned away because of my backwards hats before but tonight since I walk in hand and hand with my girlfriend I am turned away? I see now that Tony simply was judging based on my sexual preference and that my lifestyle has made the off duty owners “uncomfortable”. Sad to see such a potentially great bar show such discrimination toward the lgbt community and try to cover it up based on a “clothing policy” that was currently not being in foreced upon another straight couples inside the bar the same time I was asked to leave. Disappointed in Tony and the supposed off duty management.. I’m sure they will be happy that I will be taking my business elsewhere. To top it all off we kept the night going at Sierra gold who laughed when we told them the story of being turned away from Bourban Street. No discrimination from Sierra Gold, clearly This Dotty’s affiliated Company discriminated against...
Read moreI usually go here after work to relax and gamble and have always been treated very well. There is an older male that works there on weeknights. He is maybe middle aged but he treat everyone with so much respect and is very kind. I went tonight 2/5/2023 and there was a younger guy and his attitude was just so cold. We came in friendly and remained friendly. We played a couple rounds of pool and decided to get more tokens to play more but his vibe was just rude. No greeting, no thank you, even when I said thank you there was no response. We had a whole date night planned to play pool, gamble, eat and drink at bourbon street but the uninviting feeling we got was just too strong so we decided to cut it short. I give 3 stars because I have never had a bad experience but my mood right now I just cannot give 5. When this place has a good bartender/cook person this place is amazing but with there is bad energy as if your presence is not welcome it is a very bad experience. I don't think I will return, at least not on a Sunday...
Read moreI know there are only 5 customers, but service is key in Las Vegas. Here are the two bartenders for the night shift. The male bartenders spent the night talking to friends at the bar. The female bartender did at least bring us a beer, but I had to go to the counter for a beer every other team because they apparently had very important messages on their phones. Tickets ran out on the game NY husband was playing, and he loses those because they will not move tickets from a full machine or call for repair. We came back to the Sunset/Tenaya location because if the poor, poor service at the St. Rose location. We really do want to like Bourbon Street, but they should be ashamed of their customer service. And it's not just this location. I will give a huge shout out to Dale at St. Rose who gives incredible, incredible service. One bartender out of 5 or 6 does not make me want to return. It's really a shame. I like the machines and the games, but your bartenders need to go find jobs at...
