Dominion Park Church of Christ — Local services in Spring

First time visiting this church and for starts the greeters did not smile and were not warm and welcoming. Secondly, the church lacks the Presence of God. Thirdly, there is no praise and worship that ushered in the presence of God, neither did they actually lead the people to worship God. The songs were dry, the singers were showcasing their voices, and there was no anointing behind it. The entire service and atmosphere was mundane and you felt no anointing whatsoever. They have a meet & greet mid service and the members did not focus on making the visitors welcomed, they most went and hugged & shook the hands of the people who attends the church.

There was no opening prayer at the beginning of the service to clear the atmosphere, or lead the people to repentance or Thanksgiving to God.

There was also no deliverance done to any of the 230+ people present. So they came bound and left bound. This is a serious cause for concern. This is not a church that's big on Prayer or Deliverance and that's not good.

As for the communion service, not 1 bible verse was read where Jesus told us that this is my body which was broken for you. It was more like a social gathering than anything else.

Very disheartening because I hadn't gone to church in a long while, and pushed myself to go as I had been discouraged. But, unfortunately I went discouraged, and left feeling even more discouraged 😞.

I did not feel the presence of God at all, and the praise and worship had zero impact. None of the songs they sung, ushered the people into God's presence. No deliverance or laying of hands on people to set them free from what they are going through.

I will not be going back here unless they allow the holyspirit to lead them. I would not recommend anyone to even go here. You're gonna leave the same way you went....

I want to express my gratitude to Pastor Frank for making me fill at home, we visited Dominion Park Church a few months ago and from day one my husband and I were received very well. We had the privilege to have our wedding reception at Dominion Park church and Pastor Frank went beyond to make sure we were accommodated with all of our guests and not only that, Pastor Frank also helped us to rap up once our wedding event was over, helping to clean the floor. That just speaks so very well of him. The reception was very clean and all of our family, friends and church family loved the reception. To God be the Glory I had been waiting on the Church to open. I Watch from my work place across the street Mardi Gras Madness. Finally on Sunday I visited and it far exceed my expectations. The present of God was truly in this Church. The Love from the members was very heart felt. I can say being away from the Church setting for quite sometimes the experience made me know that I need to physically be in the house of the Lord.
