This hotel made me want to never complain about my bed at home again. To start, their online pictures are misleading and I would even go as far as to say they are catfishing guests. In the pictures, the rooms looked humble, clean and tidy–which seemed perfect because we were only looking to book for one night. Low and behold, this was absolutely not the case. For only $60, you can enjoy hallways that reek of mildew, bed sheets that obviously have not been washed between uses, and black mold spores on the ceiling! We checked in at 11PM. After inspecting the state of our room, we were absolutely appalled, but decided it was too late in the night to request a refund/relocate. In our lovely King Bed Suite room, we found: stray genital hair on the bed sheets, strange orange stains on the bed sheets, a hole that had been punched in the bathroom door, a concerning reddish-brown puddle stain on the carpet next to the bed, makeup stains all over the pillow, and stray hair scattered around the carpet. Not to mention, the left side of our bed smelled so strongly of dried urine that we decided the only way we could sleep even remotely comfortable was to get into bed fully clothed (so that little to no skin contact was made with the sheet), completely take the blanket off, lay some shirts on the pillows to create a barrier between the filth and our skin, and to sleep as far right of the bed as humanly possible. We refused to even shower that night because laying back in that bed would make bathing ourselves pointless. I understand not being able to control things like car break-ins (which happen regularly in their parking lot, apparently) or the noise level in the area (we heard gunshots and people yelling all night). But LORD! At LEAST make sure your rooms are habitable. The stench of the sheets was so bad we genuinely considered sleeping in our car instead. We would catch a whiff of it every time we would shift even an inch in the bed, just to emphasize how potent this urine/B.O/mildew smell was. Staff/management are well aware of the dirtiness of their rooms. I have seen an overwhelming amount of reviews about the absolute state of filth these rooms are in, and they seem to "Sorry for your inconvenience" the problem away. I'm sure management could care less, being as they charge so little for the rooms, so I write this review as a warning to all. I understand this is a cheap hotel and in no way did we expect luxury, but I did not think I was going to have to wipe down the entire bed with baby wipes just to have a little peace of mind. There are CLEANER cheap hotels. Do not make our mistake.
(P.S I'm 90% sure this hotel buys fake bot reviews because there is no way they have 3.9 stars with the mass amount of...
Read moreYou will in fact not rest well at Restwell Inn & Suites. This place was absolutely dreadful. When I arrived in the parking lot I could tell by the signs in the parking lot which say to lock your car and hide your belongings that we were in a bad area. It took 10 minutes to get someone to even come to the front desk to check us in. Our room keys were junk, they kept malfunctioning and we had to take them to the front desk several times to get them to work. There were hookers and drug dealers all over. Hookers were coming and going all hours of the night. There was broken glass from a liquor bottle in the parking lot. The room was disgusting. There was something that looked like dried blood mixed with something else on the ceiling which I have pictured below. There was what appeared to be a stab hole in the bathroom wall, pictured below. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling and the shower light was about to fall out of the ceiling, both are also pictured below. The carpet was stained and had burn marks everywhere and it says this is a smoke free place, that's about a joke. The bedding was nasty, luckily I always bring my own. I have pictured the stains on the sheets below as well. There was soda spilled on the couch in the lobby, pictured below, which was left there for hours because the front desk people are never there. There are people who drive through the parking lot looking for vehicles to jack. The hotel management is involved in whatever shady dealings are going in as we watched from sitting in our car just to be somewhere clean. A man pulled in went to the front desk and the front desk guy followed him out and went to his car and retrieved something from the guy and then he left and the front desk guy made a suspicious lap around the parking lot and was checking out our vehicle and then started sending a message on his phone. We left a day early and chalked up the money spent because were grateful just to get out of there with our vehicle in tact. The whole facility smells like mildew and mold with a hint of urine underneath. DO NOT RECOMMEND! You might actually die staying here. They pay for fake reviews from bots. I was mislead by these and so I am posting my review to try to save someone else like me who does not know the area. I was only there for school purposes and drove 14.5 hours to stay in this...

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. The photos online are completely misleading — they show sleek, updated rooms, but what we got was outdated, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable.
Our first room had no working air conditioning, broken bedside and bathroom lights, and we had to pack everything up and move rooms. Even in the second room, basic amenities were missing: no phone, no alarm clock, no coffee maker (despite being advertised), no tissues, and a non-functioning hair dryer. The only toiletries provided were a single packet of shampoo and lotion. There wasn’t even a working fire alarm — just an exposed spot where it should have been.
The bed was placed on a platform that didn’t even fit properly, making it unstable. The “premium bedding” was just a sheet and a thin decorative blanket, and the pillows were half the size of standard ones. We were told we couldn’t get extra pillows or towels. The blankets they did provide were stained yellow. The carpet was so filthy I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot, and the whole place smelled musty. The hallways reeked of weed the entire time.
Breakfast? Not what was advertised. The website claimed a hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy. What we actually got was cereal and a couple of bagels.
To top it all off, the key cards kept deactivating, and the staff never once greeted us when we walked through the lobby. And if that wasn’t enough, during our stay, a woman was getting hair extensions by the pool — while smoking a blunt.
Between the false advertising, poor maintenance, lack of basic amenities, and the completely unprofessional atmosphere, this was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly recommend...
