My family & I went to this "attraction" last night. We've been to several haunted woods, trails & houses throughout the US. With that being said, for $25 a person...we expected more! We arrived at 10:10pm & filed in line. We reached the ticket booth at 11:25pm (1 hr & 15 mins later). We then entered the line for trail #1 After waiting for almost 2 hrs... We entered the first "haunted" trail at 1:17am. We exited trail #1 at 1:29am (12mins later). We then entered the line for trail #2. Waited 40 mins then... We entered trail #2 at 2:10am. We exited trail #2 at 2:12am (2mins later).
-Definitely NOT worth $25 a person. -We paid $125.00 for our family of five to walk through a dark trail for a total of 14 mins. Walking through any type of dark forestry would have been longer & scarier . -The wait in line was boring & lacked, much needed, surprise scares &/or amusement. -We had to ask the ticket lady if we needed to stand in line twice for the two different attractions. Most people only went through the first trail because they were unaware of the second line. Perhaps had the lines been better placed, organized & labeled this would not have happened or been an issue. -The trails lacked enthusiastic actors, quality props & good scares. -This attraction brings in at least $10k an evening. They should be investing more money back into this business. Ex: the purchase of better costumes, masks, props & actors. *An old toilet with a plastic foot sticking out of it, a used refrigerator & wooden pallets do not qualify as quality props. -Management should be changing characters, trails & props every year. -The first trail did not have enough scares or actors. Counting less than 10 actors along our 12 min walk. Many (too many) areas that should have had jump scares or quality props were empty. A man holding a chainsaw at the end is always expected. However, coming up behind people & whispering "Got cha" before starting the chainsaw was an added surprise & much needed bonus. -The second attraction, though only having lasted two mins, was better than the first. We counted only 7 actors. But at least those actors were dressed as clowns. A character most people fear. Too bad so many people missed it.
Overall, this place lacks organization, creativity, quality props/costumes & enthusiastic actors. We will NOT return nor would we recommend this "haunted...
Read moreOn Oct 29th my friends and I went to the Haunted Trails for our first time. It supposed to start at 8pm we got there early before there's a huge line. We waited for almost more than 45 minutes. It was good and all but we have $25 for both attractions, but when we came out we thought of going to the 2nd, however there's a huge line so we thought if we can come tomorrow. We talked to one of the staff that came out of the ticket box saying if we can come tomorrow she said yes it will only expire tomorrow. Our 2nd day at Haunted Trails we went there early cause now it's starts at 7:30pm we talked to the same staff where we can start or stand in line for our 2nd day of Haunted Trails and 2nd attraction "Psycho Hallow" we were told to stand at Psycho Hallow line. While everyone else is lining up for 1st attraction "Haunted Trails". The tall man black man told us we can go in line is Psycho Hallow so we did and yet we waited for so long for 45 minutes and the same lady from yeaterday we talked to told us to go back of the line of Haunted Trails. We were so dissapointed the lady lied even we showed her our tickets but she declined. Me and my friends have to walk all the way back, and talk to man and he told us the same thing go back at the end of the line which is long to the neighborhood. We tried going back but some kids talking all big thinking we're cutting in line, but we're not my friend almost about to beat a child. However he didn't we glare and walked away cause the little kid legs were shaking while the parents are on their phones, so went back home. Cause the place is filled with Bad Vibes we can sense people wants a fight and people looking at us weird. So it's like we payed $15 for 1 attraction, however we payed $25 for both. So the staff lied to us, wasted our time, lack of security, not distancing, barely scary, and very bad place to set up in a middle of a road to park and etc. This is true story, so everyone who read this review be warned. Cause my friends and I don't you to end up like us suffering. Be safe and trust no staff over there don't get...
Read moreWent with a group of 8 on October 25th. I had high hopes for this place and went to the Haunted Woods Houston when it was around was so excited for the same type concept. First itâs a single wide driveway and no one was there to hold the cars coming out to wait so cars on the road could safely get in. I witness a Honda halfway in the driveway and having to reverse back into the street for someone to exit. Car were coming, and honking it was a mess. Another entrance or even someone to monitor and coordinate traffic would be really beneficial! We all purchased our tickets and stood in line. Got a jump scare in line which got me so excited to enter!! Once we entered it started out great!! I was so excited to go through the trails. HoweverâŚ. It quickly faded. After the gas station there was not one other scare. We made it to the cemetery and were expecting someone. I had seen so many pictures and water a gate keeper type experience. There was no one. We even stopped and stood for a minute, where another group caught up to us. Waiting expecting someone⌠no one ever came. We walked through the trails and I was waiting ready for something. The hog was a thrill but overall the trails were seriously lacking especially at the price point. We had visited 13th Floor prior and itâs the same price and that was non stop scares the entire time. Along with awesome animatronics. I donât expect that with the trails but I did expect a little more. The Haunted Woods was a bit of a maze and if you werenât careful you would find yourself going in a circle. Would like to give this place another try but for the price point and comparing other haunts in the area it...
