Michelle, the owner is the best. Simply the best! She offers stellar customer service and really makes you feel like a princess when you are working with her. I went to three other bridal boutiques in the area and she by-far out shined them all!
Fiancée was my first to visit, and I could tell from the moment I booked my appointment with her, it was going to be a wonderful experience.
When we got there we saw she had a sign that clearly stated no food or drinks. What a bummer! We had brought some champagne! No worries, Michelle told us she would make an exception for this and the areas of her store she would allow the open bottle and champagne filled cups!
I think she could tell I was new at all of this. Instead of putting pressure on me to go pick out the dresses, she asked me what my concerns were and what was the look I was going for. I showed her a couple of pictures and expressed that I wanted my chest to be emphasized but in a classy way, and something that flattered my midsection. I'm usually a size 6, so I wasn't sure if I was a size 8, 10, or 12. From there she had me take a seat, she was going to shop for me! She briefed me on how the whole process would work and important facts about her store: everything comes straight from the designer and is all off the rack.
Her selections were gorgeous, fun, and unexpected! My max out the door budget was $1500. She even picked out dresses that were in the $700 range. This woman truly cares about how you look and feel...not about her pocketbook.
After I tried on my first round of dresses, she could see the conflicted feelings I was having on my face. She suggested I tried on my #1 and #1.5 (I couldn't pick, I loved them both!!!) Went and got some accessories to help complete the look, the whole nine yards. I told her I needed to sleep on it. Truthfully, I couldn't get that first dress out of my head the rest of the day! When I reviewed the photos, I realized that both dresses I had fallen in love with weren't going to photograph on my body type very well. So I continued my search!
The next boutique I tried was an off-beat boutique and was a complete bust for me.
The third boutique, though very friendly, the associate I was paired up with didn't seem very knowledgable. The selection was a decent size, but the inner corsets (on the dresses that actually had them) were so cheaply made and insinuated the dresses weren't very high quality. I must have tried on about 7 dresses and none of them wow'd me.
The fourth boutique had the largest selection of all and I was paired with someone who was very polished and professional. Everyone there was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was great. I could see why my sister and another close friend bought their wedding dresses here. At the end of the session, I felt pressured. If I didn't make a decision by 10:00 AM on Monday morning, I don't get a 10% discount. The accountant in me sunk to the ground wanting to pout. 10% is free money, but that requires making a hasty decision. By this time it had been an incredibly long day and all I could see was chiffon, satin, lace, and glitter. My head was spinning and all I kept hearing is, "So, what are you going to do?" I'm going to sleep on it.
I didn't.
By the time we got to the car I told my mom I wanted to see if Fiancée was still open.
We got there at 4:40 and they were closed. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I have until Monday to make this decision with the other place, it's Saturday now and she's closed until Tuesday!!! Just as we were turning around with our heads sunken down and feeling like a storm cloud was over us, I hear a door unlock and open, a voice like an angel say, "Hey girls! What's going on?" HALLELUJAH! That heavenly voice was Michelle!! Long story short, she re-opened the store just for us, picked out four dresses after I filled her in on what I had learned about my body type and what I wanted...and she found me my dress. She found the one.
Of all of the places I went to, her dresses are the best cared for, the best quality, and the...
Read moreI give this place ALL 5 star rating! A few days ago my mom, aunts, and I were on our way to do some antique shopping in Old Town Springs when we stumbled onto this bridal shop. Now prior to this unexpected visit I had mentioned to my mom and one of my aunts that I wanted to see if maybe there were any bridal shops we could check out while there. They all agreed to the idea and so I looked into it. I saw a few, Fiancee bridal, being one of them. I was working on making an appointment since I was wanting to be respectful of their "appointment" request, which I totally understand having worked in retail. Well, during my attempt in making the appointment, I backed out at the last minute being unsure of what everyone wanted to do that day and not wanting to put a dent in anyone's plans. So, I thought to myself, well if it works out for us to see dresses, cool, if not, I'm not going to worry about it and just set my sights else where even though I really wanted to. So, we get there, I park, and wouldn't you know it, I parked just a few feet away from the bridal shop. My mom pointed it out to me the shop and I said, if we can, ok, if not, no worries. Well, after looking at a few antique shops we ended up going into Fiancee. I was totally expecting for the sales associate to ask if we had an appointment, to which I would've had to say "no" and was expecting to leave as soon as we got there. However, this did not happen. What did happen was my mom, aunts, and I walked in, I asked her if by chance we could look around. She was completely fine with it. I went a little further and asked if it would be possible for me to try on a couple of dresses, she was totally cool with that as well. I just had to fill out a form with my wedding information. Totally fine with that. I hand the form to her and she says "ok, so what are we looking at as far as price point and style?" I told her my price point being under $1,000, again, I was totally fine if she gave me the "yeah, that's not gonna happen lady" look; however, she did not. In fact, Jillian was quite opposite. She was the sweetest and said "ok, let's see what we can do. But, first, let's find your dress." I was like, "ok, I'm cool with that." So my mom and I began looking at picking out a few dresses to try on. We find them and Jillian sets me up with a dressing room, inviting my mom and aunts to sit. She made me feel totally awesome and taken care of for walk in appointment (lol). So, the first dress I try on is one that my mom picked out. I wouldn't have picked it out just because it looked different than what I had been looking at; nevertheless I said "what the heck, let's try it." DUDE! It was the one! For real! It had the right combo of everything. I was sold and so was my entourage. I tried on the other dresses Jillian brought down, but the first one was it for me. The other thing that was really funny was the fact that during my whole unexpected visit there the songs that were playing were the songs my fiancee had been playing for me. If that ain't God I don't know what is! It was crazy! Jillian informed me that she had turned on the radio so whatever song was playing that was not under her control. She was like "it was meant to be for you to come here today" I'm like, "I think you're right!" So, in the end, needless to say, I said "yes to the dress" at Fiancee bridal. All I can and want to say is Thank you Lord for making a way for me to get the dress of my dreams along with the man I have been praying for. You know I really wasn't expecting to marry a man I called "my friend" or would say "we're just friends" nor was expecting to try on a dress that I thought did not look like me. However, God did and He worked it ALL out for my good as He promises in His Word. I just want to give a mega THANK YOU to Jillian for helping my mom and I out in finding my dress! You were awesome and SO SWEET! Also, THANK YOU FIANCEE BRIDAL BOUTIQUE for working with my budget and giving me the BEST gift possible. Y'all are THE BEST! FOR REAL! THANK YOU...
Read moreI am so very glad we found FiancĂ©e Bridal. They made my daughterâs dream come true. We first worked with Gaby who was kind, attentive, patient, and pulled a dress totally different than anything my daughter was trying on that turned out to be âthe perfect dressâ. Then Michelle went above and beyond to get it from the European designer in the right size and also secured all of the right accessories for us. And the dress prices are incredible too. When Gaby mentioned the price of the dress we bought I was sure I misheard. I expected it to be at least 4 -5 times the cost. Thatâs what we paid at a nearby Spring/The Woodlands âbrick â boutique for one of my other daughters and this dress is just as well made and elegant. Maybe even more so. We could have bought a dress for this price at the âDâsâ Bridal Store chain, but it would be poorly made, cheap lace, scratchy polyester and glued on beading. Not the luxurious dress we bought at FiancĂ©e. AND we did all of this in the midst of the COVID craziness and never felt unsafe in the store. They really worked hard to keep shoppers spread out both in terms of appointments and in dressing areas in the store. It meant brides couldnât bring an entourage, but that is fine. Too many people giving opinions just puts more stress on the bride anyway (in my opinion). In reality you only need your own good judgement and the support of one person you trust to tell you the truth. Finally FiancĂ©e Bridal only sells bridal gowns. You will need to find your bridesmaid and motherâs dresses elsewhere. Some people may want a âone stopâ shop, but I think this aspect is one of the aspects that makes them a better wedding gown option. The focus is on the bride! I highly recommend...
