We love this store! We go about 3 or 4 times a year to restock on spices and hot sauce and to get Texas Yummies to send to family. The owners are wonderful and even though we only come in a few times a year they always seem to remember us. All the food there is delicious and they even have a tasting bar for the hot sauces so you can verify if it's an ok spice level for you. I have cried in that store before for overestimating my spice bravery and the owners felt so bad 🤣. It's one of my partners and my favorite stops. I went last summer and bought some really delicious hot sauces. My sons liked them but wanted something hotter which they carry at the store. My son is in the army asked me to go get him some more hot hot hot sauce so I went back. Went on a Monday several Mo this ago and everything is closed. Ok. Went back on a Friday when my son was in town and again they were closed. Went on a Sunday and they they were closed. Went early this month on a Tuesday and they were closed. Simply Texas Gourmet foods is the perfect place if you’re looking for hot sauce related products. They have sauces, seasons, spicy foods, and even a tasting section if you’re not sure what you want. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and happy to help. If you’re local you need to check this place out, but if you’re not local you have to check this place out before you leave because you don’t want to miss it.
