This place is LITERALLY my favorite little taco shop, especially their crispy tacos!! The Pastor is addicting!! I always get several things, as I literally can’t narrow it down any further because it’s all amazing lol. Ground beef and pastor crispy tacos with cheese, chicken floutas, ground beef tostada w cheese, and the chicken soup (if they have it), plus a Mexican coke (when in Rome). It seems to be a mother and son operation. It’s always delicious, but when the woman is cooking, it’s like someone’s una poquita abuelita back there making magic!!! 🤤 I highly recommend this place to everyone I know. It can be kinda loud, if there are ppl in there being loud (watching things on their phones, or using speaker phone ANNOYING). There’s an off putting smell when you first walk in, unfortunately (like their plumbing isn’t great), but you get used to it after about 5 min (not my favorite thing to report in a restaurant tbh, but the food is THAT GOOD! It doesn’t deter me). I have eaten here more times than I can count now! My only complaint is that on a rare occasion, they aren’t open during their regular posted hours, so call first to be sure. I drive 20 min or so to get there, so that can be a huge let down when you’re super excited about the most delicious tacos on this side of Louetta! Customer for life!!! Don’t get me wrong, when the male is cooking, it’s also delicious, but the woman seems to put a little extra love in...
Read moreWe live in Katy and we're visiting the area and wanted a good mexican breakfast. First we stopped at Las Delicias Taqueria and the lady behind the counter had the worst attitude. We tried to be overly kind to her hoping to lift her spirits and when we asked how she was doing today with no eye contact she said good, are you ready? My husband and I both looked at eachother and walked out. Iean I can understand people have bad days but if your running a business you dont treat customer like this. We ended up going to La Regia and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the nice lady behind the counter, she was so friendly and we told her it was out first time so she gave is a few samples of the meats. The tortillas are homemade which is a big deal for me and the food is absolutely...
Read moreWorst menudo I've ever had. First piece of meat felt like I put a spoon full of slime into my mouth. The rest looked about the same. Don't know if it was overcooked or what, but I couldn't even swallow it. Rest of the food was mediocre at best (machacado, gordita, quesadilla). The only good thing at all we're the potatoes that came with the machacado plate. So disappointed because this place has such great reviews, and it was nothing like that. Not authentic Mexican, and even questioned if the...
