Dimes Meat Market — Local services in Springdale

We used to shop here on a regular basis and no complaints. Came back about a week or so ago to spend over 200.00 and was VERY disappointed! Meat man was in a bad mood and rude to me. Meat is below par for a fresh meat market. Fixed the Ground Chuck and I had more grease in the pan than I had meat. Just fixed the stew meat and I put in the crockpot on low for 4 hours and it was a tough as a leather belt. Lastly the bacon was almost nothing but fat after cooked. That's enough for me for over 200.00 dollars. I won't be back. I will try Richards in Fayetteville, maybe they will appreciate customers and good quality meat. Sad Dimes👎

UPDATE 4 STAR ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ NOW We spoke with Kim, one of the owners from Dimes regarding our purchase and how we felt. She was very gracious, and honestly a nice person that wanted to make it right, (and she did) in hopes that we could give them another try in the future. She also offered us a pound each of Chuck to try again and review it. We are happy to do so, and because customer service was exceptional we will definitely return to Dimes in the future for more delicious products. We finally visited this meat market about 6 or 7 months ago. Can't say why we hadn't before, we've lived in Springdale 24 years now. Boy what a mistake we made in waiting so long! This place is great. You are ALWAYS greated in a friendly, neighborly way, they answer any and all questions with knowledge, and they take the time to make sure you get exactly what it is you're after that day never rushing out making you feel like you are taking up their time. I stopped in to get a pork roast recently. My husband was planning to smoke and had said to get boneless but what they had was bone in. "No problem!" the young man said. He took it over to the block and expertly removed the bone, leaving the roast in perfect shape.

Our first visit was for pork chops. We told the man helping us out was our first time in and we left with some sausage to sample as well. We've since bought a pork bundle which was fantastic and all the cuts were nicely done (time for another next weekend) and that pork sausage they make...... OH MY MY it's perfect!

We can for say enough about the people that run this place. Yes the meat is the number one reason to come here but the people, they are a very close second...

Dime's just recently opened back up after an extended downtime and I have nothing but positive things to say about them. While browsing their selection I had multiple people offer to help me or make recommendations. I ended up purchasing two healthy tenderloin filets, one pound of their center-cut bacon, two potatoes and a jar of the million-dollar pickles.

Once I got home I created a weave with the bacon and wrapped the filets, prepared some cheesy potatoes, and by the end of the night it was all gone and so were the pickles! The selection was great and the service was even better.
