Dig My Dog — Local services in Springdale

I am beyond sad and frustrated. Took my mini goldendoodle here for the second time. First time she did great for a maintenance cut with a very nice woman. Dropped her off today with a man who seemed in a bad mood. He told me she had mats. (Later found it was the owner Jim). Yes she had some but were manageable (trust me she's had worse!)

I should have put her in the car and taken her home with me. He absolutely scalped my dog. She doesn't look like a doodle anymore. Uneven cut, all the fur off off her face. Her chest was shaved completely to the skin. He didn't take the time with her he just shaved her. Then he had the audacity to tell me that she needs more time at the groomers to feel comfortable. Give me a break, she's been groomed numerous times.

If you're going to use this establishment make sure you know who's doing it. This man was horrible and plain didn't care. Makes me so upset at myself for leaving my precious dog there for the 5 + hours it took them. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Here are before and after pics. Plus, I paid $76 for this mess. They had such good reviews but many are years old. Not sure what has happened...

James and all the ladies at Dig My Dog are the best! Mason my 4-legged child gets so excited when I mention Dig My Dog and he can't wait to get in the door when we pull in the driveway. They do an excellent job of grooming and even though he is more than reluctant when I try to bathe him knowing that is what is going to happen he still can't wait to get in the door. They have been the best when occastions have come up that I have needed to board Mason and they releaved all my anxiety of leaving him. And he especially loves being in doggy day care a couple times a week and I would recommend Dig My Dog for any of your 4-legged child's needs. His cousin Bella will be joining My Dig My Dog...

After 6 years I finally quit this business. They do a good grooming job. But they have the most maddening communications problem that it's just not worth it. They apparently have one phone line and use it for everything. If it's busy... and it's busy most of the time...you get a message telling you are being screened then it hangs up on you. For the past year and a half it's taken me a ridiculous amount of time to get through to even make an appointment. I told them nicely several times. They clearly didn't care. So I'm done. What a way to treat...
