Straightright Boxing & Fitness — Local services in Springdale

I moved to Arkansas from Boston about a year ago. I’m a 57 y/o man. I have been in other boxing gyms back east as a kid growing up, but it has been a solid 40 years since I stepped into a boxing gym. The trainers and fighters at Straight Right are welcoming, helpful, and accepting. They made me feel like part of the Straight Right family from the moment I entered the gym.

I play hockey, golf, and workout at Planet Fitness a few times a week. There is no comparison to the workouts you’ll get at Straight Right. I wasn’t looking to become the next “Great White Hope”. I was only looking to get in better shape, improve my cardio, and work on my boxing technique.

Thanks to Kevin, Kalvin, and Bernard, I was able to achieve these goals.

Straightright has been incredibly life changing for me. It has ironed my mentality and strengthened my self-esteem, and has made me an overall much more positive person in life. The coaches do a great job teaching us how to box, and at the same time instill life lessons in us that you can take and use to improve aspects of your life outside of boxing. It’s not just about hitting a bag over and over again, it’s about growing the mental fortitude to push you to the finish.
