Kohl's — Local services in Springfield Township

I do not generally shop this store. Too expensive for my blood. But, my daughter wanted a specific brand so I stopped in.

The store was a mess. Specifically the children's departments. I managed to find outfits fairly easily in the boys and toddler departments.

Moved on to the girls department and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. An associate, Paula, stood propped up on a display rack having a conversation with another person with no regard to me or the other people I had with me looking. So, I stopped an associate walking in the main aisle. She wasn't knowledgeable saying she'd only been there a couple weeks. Meanwhile, Paula and the other person moved from the rack she was propped on to another rack and continued talking. Paula and her friend were still talking even after I made my selection and moved to the front of the store to pay.

I bought 2 outfits, a toddler dress ($10) and 3 of the stuffed animals from the front (so, $15) and even after the friends and family discount that was running that weekend, it was $150. To me, that's a lot of money to put into a store that isn't taken care of and that has employees that have no regard for the reason they have a job....the...

Love shopping at kohl's but it's bittersweet going there since my sister passed because it was one of her favorite places to Shop, we would even go to kohl's in Columbus when I would drop her and my mom off for her chemotherapy and radiation treatments she had pancreatic cancer ♋💔😢 miss her terribly 💔 I had to laugh one time she asked me how I liked her free robe she got with her kohl's cash she had to of spent over 200 dollars to get it but it put a smile on my face and hers when she told me that !!! I am adding an update it's 2024 now ! I still love shopping at kohl's I buy alot of things for my dog there also from beds to toys ,drinking & food bowls etc. She is very special so she deserves the best ! Buy clothing for my mom myself & husband also toys for great neices & nephews! I'm not a fan of 1 checkout area though there used to be one at each door ! But I get it because management has a budget and they also are trying to cut down on shoplifters it's sad this has to be but like I said I totally understand... associate s are polite & helpful , very clean ,no clutter in aisles So Kudos to all...

I don't usually shop here, but I put in an online order for 2 pairs of pajamas and was charged a pending charge. I go to pick them up the next day, and my order was changed to 1 pair because they couldn't fulfill the order. When I picked my order up, I was charged AGAIN for just the one pair. Now I am being told that I have to wait up to 2 weeks for the first charge to come off. So I have now paid 3 times as much for the one pair of pajamas. They took more money instead of refunding what they couldn't fulfill. Total scam artists.

Update: it has now been TEN days and it still hasn't fallen off. Would it have killed Kohl's to leave the original charge and just change the pickup date on one of the items? Why did I have to be charged twice? Is Kohl's waiting on their interest checkpoint? Or are they using the money they are holding to inflate Christmas sales reports? My God, don't ever shop here.
