Torrid — Local services in Springfield Township

I received the most horrible racist treatment in this store today by a cashier named Maura. I had a return for my mom but it wasn’t under her number. I asked her to just give a store credit but she refused. The shoes were not worn had the original insoles paper and tags. When I was able to get her the order number after while that was not good enough she continued to question me on more information. Then she proceeded to give me a ripped up bill and stated, oh you can still use that. I told her I would like a non ripped bill . So she huffed and puffed lying and said she had none in the register . When she magically found one she said, oh here. I noticed she gave the customer in front of me who looked like her a red holiday bag. I asked for the same for items that I was not returning. She gave me a different bag then took that one back and with a scowl gave me the red bag. I will never come to this store again and I will be contacting the corporate office. I've been to both the Springfield and KOP locations. Both stores are wonderful, but Springfield absolutely has the edge. Their dress selection surpasses KOP and as the KOP employees are very nice, the Springfield employees make you feel like one of your friends is there with you to help make the right decisions on clothes. I've only been to Torrid a handful of times bc unfortunately, they're expensive, but each time I go to the Springfield location, I feel like I'm just visiting my friends at work. They don't push extras on you like the perfume, or shoes or accessories or even the credit card. It's just a very comfortable atmosphere and I hope Sarah makes her way up the ladder bc she's just amazing! Good morning Google family. I visited after purchasing a watch for my mom from Dakota watch company. Both places are in the Springfield Mall. I wanted to look at 👟 shoes for my mom. All they had was sandals.. I will visit another Torrid location. Either the one in Cherry Hill or the one in Dept Ford. I will also purchase my mom some shoes online at Torrid, this way she can see what she likes and prefers. The Dakota watch associate went with me to alter the watch for my mom's arm. It was too big so they altered it. We also visited the rest room in Target. It was clean for the most part. We left and went to Aston Diner where we ate a great meal. Great day today.
