Horrible service! THE GENERAL MANAGER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. I called this place to reserve and confirm they had 2 alcohol beverages. Diki picked up the phone and said that it was okay for us to purchase without an account. We then called once again before leaving New York to confirm that we could purchase these alcohol. Someone else picked up the phone and said they were available and able to be purchased without an account. I flew from New York to St. Louis and drove a few hours to this place. When I showed up I asked for the same alcohol. One of the employees said they didn’t have it and said they were going to figure it out. I then approached the general manager asking about this issue. He responded to me saying that they do have it and I needed an account or be a VIP to purchase them. So I explained how I called twice and his employees said I didn’t need an account to purchase. He replied to me saying that I’m playing games and that a lot of people also say that. He was so rude and didn’t even apologize. I explained that I came from New York purposely for that but he continued saying that I was playing them. The fact that he didn’t admit his employees mistakes and was even rude to me was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I respect their policy of only selling it to their VIPs, but I already called twice to asked if I could. They both said YES! The manager didn’t even compensate it. He could’ve easily just sold it to me to make up for it. But he didn’t! This is the WORST customer...
Read moreBinny’s Beverage Depot in Springfield is everything you expect from a top-tier Binny’s location—spacious, well-organized, and fully loaded with a fantastic selection of spirits, wine, and beer. This location stands out for its consistently strong bourbon offerings and some of the best pricing in the area.
On my visit, I picked up a Starlight Port-Finished Bourbon store pick—a great find and exactly the kind of unique bottle that makes Binny’s store picks so popular. I’m always on the lookout for good port-finished bourbons, and this one hit the mark.
While there weren’t any allocated bottles available at the time, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and the inventory made up for it. Whether you’re looking for everyday sippers or something more unique, this Binny’s has plenty of variety to explore.
Other customers I chatted with in-store mentioned how much they appreciate the well-curated store pick section and the clean, easy-to-navigate layout, especially compared to smaller shops. It’s clearly a go-to spot for locals and travelers alike.
If you’re in the Springfield area and even remotely interested in bourbon or whiskey, this Binny’s should absolutely be on your list. Great bottles, fair prices, and a chance to grab something you won’t find...

Sad to see a place that I had previously given 4 stars drop down to 1. I can't think of a good reason why an employee would have me, the customer, track down his manager Lane because he does not know enough about bourbon to help me. Then the manager apologized for not having what I was looking for, which is fine, but then lied when I asked about special bottles in the office saying they dont do that. I've been there when they have done that for other customers and when it was for my brother while we were out hunting for specific bottles. I guess I will just start going to Friar Tucks down the road, I may pay a little bit more for certain bottles but it's worth it for actual customer service.
Stop here every time I am...
