I've gotten food from CoreLife at least a dozen times since they've opened but have held off on leaving a review because my experiences have been pretty hit or miss. My orders have had some kind of error at least 90% of the time (missing dressing, missing beverage cup, incorrect ingredients, entire bowl missing from order), but when correct the food is very good.
Today, I ordered a bbq chicken ranch grain bowl (remove tomatoes), a build-your-own broth bowl (no tomatoes), and a craft beverage. When I checked my bag to make sure the beverage cup was included (it wasn't) I noticed a heaping pile of tomatoes in my grain bowl. When I lifted it out of the bag to look at it I noticed a heaping pile of tomatoes in my broth bowl as well. I can understand the tomatoes being included in a dish that normally has tomatoes but am not sure why they were in a fully customized item that did not include tomatoes. I double checked my order confirmation email and the receipt on the bag and there was no mention of tomatoes on either. After waiting several minutes I managed to get the attention of one of the employees behind the counter, and pointed out that my order was incorrect. They remade my bowls. However, the new broth bowl had so little broth in it that it looked like a grain bowl. I confirmed that I had a broth bowl and was told that they were out of their normal bowls that they use for broths, but no mention of why there was so little broth. I took it home anyway.
There was maybe a spoonful of broth in the broth bowl. It was essentially a very soggy grain bowl. The temperature of this item was also oddly inconsistent: parts of it were cold and other parts were almost searing hot. This didn't seem to have anything to do with the ingredients being different temperatures, different areas of the bowl were different temperatures, almost like what happens with microwaved food.
I havent tried the bbq chicken ranch grain bowl yet, I'm a bit nervous to at this point.
On the plus side: the lemonade had sweetener in it this time.
Overall, the food is good when it's correct, but I would suggest checking your order before...

Read moreI understand this place has a lot of healthy eating options, and not being a large fan of regular rice was pleasantly surprised to see that they served rice noodles. Was not pleasantly surprised to find out that they serve their rice noodles Ice Cold. Ordered their barbecue Chicken Ranch bowl, entirely too little barbecue and entirely too much Ranch. Found the entire experience to be like chewing grass with little occasional small chunks of chicken with a slightly barbecue taste and Ranch constantly bombarding me on the chewing experience. Only took about 5 or 6 bites, looked into one of the many glass windows and saw myself making a very convincing cow impression, chewing my cud. Will never be back, couldn't pay me to come back, not if this was the last dining establishment on Earth.
Oh, and another important fact, your lemonade tasted like you forgot the sugar and nade. Like drinking lemon juice out of a bottle, but...
