Bought two gallons of milk here that was marked to expire in 13 days. Next day after purchase, the milk was sour rotten. It ruined our family's morning. Kid's didn't get their cereal before school, adults didn't get their coffee. Called the store and spoke with Lisa, who seemed to know that this was ongoing issue already, and said that I could return the milk but had to have a receipt. I told her that I purchased it with a card, a receipt is not needed (the card is literally the receipt). Some back n forth, Lisa agreed to refund the milk to my card. I get there about 7am. Lisa is in the office, and refuses to come out as we wait at the customer service desk. She sees us with the cameras. My son gets the lone cashier to call her. So she finally comes out. She insisted that we exchange the two gallons of milk because customer service doesn't open until 9am( never told me that when I called, there are no signs stating such, plus she IS the customer service manager but ok). My son went to get another two gallons in exchange as I told Lisa that "I'll drop my kids off for school and then I'll come back and have the two gallons of milk, that I'm exchanging now, to be returned and refunded on my card". All of a sudden Lisa could perform her job duties and said that she would refund the milk now! And did it without a receipt and she used my card to do it.
Do not buy milk here. I don't think their stockers are keeping the milk cold from truck to shelf. Before this incident I notice milk going bad before it suppose to expire, and my kids and I had upset tummies. I really thought it was something else or a stomach bug. But I got couple gallons from Sam's Club and oh my goodness, my coffee tasted so good this morning and yesterday morning. And we've all noticed that the 'stomach bug' went away. This place is more expensive than it's other stores, but all the stores have terrible customer service and corporate...
Read moreI would not recommend ordering a cake from the S. Dirksen location in Springfield, IL. I ordered my mom a birthday cake for her 60th birthday on aThursday. It was picked on that Saturday. The cake was extremely dry. The guest even complained about it. So the next day, I called to see what can be done about. I was told to call the next day and ask to speak with Cindy. So I did. Cindy became very rude and hostile over the phone. She said the cake was not stale and she wasn't going to give me a refund. So I asked to speak with her manager. She yelled through the phone and told me to call him myself and hung up. So I did and left a message for the manager to call. She must've talked to her manager because she called back and said that he said to bring the cake in with the receipt and they'll refund me my money. I told her that they could just give me another cake. She once again got hostile and said she wasn't giving me another cake. She is so unprofessional. This County Market location is so ghetto. And I'll never spend my money there again. The only reason I went there to order my mom's cake was because the location was convenient. I never go in there for no other reason. I'll just stick to one of the...

They called the person in that section and when I went to that aisle that person was right there to help me. I really appreciated that because then I was in and out of there pretty fast. I will go there again and I recommend the store to others. I need to get a card to help save on my purchases.. thanks so much for your...
