Food Zone International Supermarket — Local services in Springfield

I go there just to buy a certain coffee,so I asked one of the guys that are stacking the coffees in the coffee isle of the certain brand I love ,he said there is no more in the bags But in a canister there is and gave it to me saying as I thought $4.99, so when I went to the cashier she said another price ok so I asked if they can double check to my surprise the guy came back with the girl and started yelling at me saying who am I to make him look bad and he never said anything to me😮,so I told him excuse me first of all this is why I asked to have it checked furthermore is this how you talk to a customer let alone and older person?? The cashier and girl looked at me in surprise and apologized I told them it’s ok I will never shop in that store again,,,if a older mm comes yelling at you it says a lot of the kind of workers working there,,we as customers shouldn’t have to be subject to that kind of abuse...

most of the management and staff of this Belmont location are very rude and i think racist toward white people and mix people of Latino white mixed people. and have one white person male the works there they will not hire a white female i have been going to this store for 7 years the white females they had left. They think because your poor and live close to the store that you need them and there high prices. the cart man likes to harass the customers over the groceries carts the store is over priced and they do not treat the consumer or customer right i will never go back to this store and i have spent hundreds here not any more id rather go to big y stop n shop price rite anywhere...

First the good: Service is good. Free rides? Oh yeah; that's awesome. Selection is VERY large.

Bad: Expensive for no reason. Almost EVERYTHING is either almost expired or ALREADY expired.

When I forget to check the expiration date, I always check when I get home. Sometimes it's a day old. A week old... A WHOLE MONTH OLD.

Why is Food Zone so disgusting? I live close by, so I want to be able to just walk to buy my grocery. But I can't when everything is expensive and expired. Not a great combo.

So for that; one star from me.
