Red Apple — Restaurant in Springfield

Let me start by saying that the food here is amazing! i love them, I've been eating here for years!!! So i recently ordered from there online as i normally do. When the food arrives, the delivery man starts pounding on my door! I live in a duplex not a building there is no need to bang on my door in that manner. I answer the door pay and tip the man, grab food and turn around. He starts pounding at the door again, now saying i owe him a dollar. Strangest thing was i tipped him $5 and hes still saying i owe him money? So i have him recount it, he counts out what i gave him and still insist i owe him money. I show him the receipt but he's still insisting. I go to grab my phone to show the mobile receipt receipt and the DELIVERY MAN is trying to get in my house. pushing through my aunt and cousin to get to me! He's still trying to push his way into my house, name calling, making THREATS, so Obviously, i flipped out. I show him the receipt and inform him how WRONG he was and immediately call the store while letting him no I WILL BE IN TOUCH extremely soon. Been going here for over, (well I’m 33, my parents originally began so I’d say over 45 years. We know the owner Michael very well and we know oversees many restaurants, after today I’m done, I ordered my food, as usual and when it came to ordering wings as uncomfortable as it is for me to ask, for fresh wings because I mean come on it’a expected!?! Right? No well I mentioned please fresh wings and she lost it yelling and I had to explain that no her statement of it always being fresh hasn’t been correct… sometimes we’ll many times I get home with wings that clearly were twice maybe thrice cooked! Same with ribs…. It’s like wow and then she hangs up on me and so I call back and she continued her tirade before hanging up on me again so I popped up because I did put an order and she never took it so once there she continued to yell and say it’s all fresh just like the giant already fried wings on the counter that I know they will throw into fryer to re hear causing her entire story of them being fresh out the window!!!! Right...

Saturday March 25, 2023 3:30pm I called to order my shrimp & broccoli Plus my small crab Ragu The lady screamed on the phone “known your order before you call” and hangs up • • •Because she claimed she can’t hear me. I was confused because I order the same thing all the time and I wasn’t rude or disrespectful. Never will I order here again! One day they will be respect the community they serve! Customers service is terrible !!! 7.They need to update their phones and the lady who called me the b$$$ on the phone. 8.This place is cancel ! I will order at a “bamboo house” or somewhere with more class. I’m really upset because I wrote this whole review on this lady being so disrespectful. Have a good day and don’t let people disrespect you over no food. I wish I could give them 0 ⭐️. But y’all can get one star for the people who care about...
