I have not been to knox st market in about 30+ years.. but I grew up on smith street. Pretty sure at the time my brothers and I were the only blonde-haired blue-eyed kids around.. we went to knox st market EVERYDAY. If you had .50 cents we were rich.. penny candy was are life.. Mr.T was one of the highlights of my childhood there. He was kind and always smiling. Unfortunately, we even witnessed the aftermath of some Pretty bad robberies he was a victim of.. NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY SOMEONE WOULD HURT ONE OF THE KINDESS PEOPLE US KIDS NEW...seeing Mr.T on the ground bleeding from his head, was traumatizing for us 6 and 7year olds.. my middle brother took seeing that extremely hard.. I hear it is still run by his family ❤️ today.. I wish nothing but the best for them.. I'm 41, and my family and I still talk about Mr.T and how much we loved him. May God...
