We went Friday night and did the 5-11 wrist band special. We didn't have our hopes too high. We didn't know what to expect with the mixed reviews. The pictures looked more for smaller children to maybe 13ish years old. We didn't plan on getting wrist bands for adults, but we did and I'm glad. We definitely got our money worth, and didn't even do everything because we were tired!! This pass includes everything except the basketball and bowling. There is food and a bar. The adult beverages need to stay in the bar. A water was $2. A pop was $3. We did not try the food but it did smell good.
We were able to ride every ride with our children. It was fun family time and made me feel like a kid again. We had a LOT of laughs.
The rides go for a pretty lengthy time.
The Hurricane has MANY options to choose from and you can go upside down or opt out. It was a joy to experience this with my children.
Dark Ride also has a few options to choose from. It was fun also. My boys believe my sear (4) was why I came in 1st both times and mom couldn't possibly have beaten them and their dad...🤭
Laser tag was fun! You play a round for about 8 minutes and can pick free play or teams. The entire group will take a vote. It goes every half hour.
Go there and spend time with your kid. Ride the rides with them. You will NOT regret it!
They stick to the age and height requirements.
The staff. They worked their butt's off. They are short staffed and hiring. Luckily this place was not busy and these employees were running from ride to ride to make sure these kids were able to ride every ride their hearts desired. Many rides require 2 employees to operate. They make sure if they promise a kid they'll be next they get that kid on the ride and then they'll go back to the ride after. I was in awe by their dedication, hard work, and good attitudes all around. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ to ALL employees on 10/11!! You were rockstars!! I wish I would have caught the 3 guys names that REALLY went above and beyond.
The bathrooms were clean and they're big from it being an old Bergners. One on each floor.
Plenty of parking since it is a mall.
I sure hope they find more staff because this is the type of place kids/families need more of!!!
Thank you for such a wonderful night! I hope when we are in the area we will have time to stop again!!
You will not regret your weekend...
Read moreWe had my 10 & 14 year olds combanation birthday party here on June 8th. Mr. Ben, who was one of the managers in the party room area, was excellent to work with. There was no party ahead of us, so he allowed us to go into the party room a little early to set up since most of the party goerers were already there. He checked up on us periodically, earning himself a piece of cake from the boys and a lot of gratitude from my wife and I. At the start of the party, the boys agreed they wanted to have the entire party do laser tag together. So he took it upon himself to go over to laser tag and advise the operator, even though it should have been my job. And because there was no party scheduled behind us, Ben allowed us to stay in the cabana longer since it took us time to find our kids near the end of the party & we were going to go a lil long unintentionally.
The only complaints I had was that the go-kart track was only putting four drivers at a time on the track at times. I'm not sure if that was due to an understaff at the time, riders requests, or operator's choice. To me, racing is more fun if there's more cars on the track. Adds to the challenges. I do like the way that the cars are controlled, though. If something happens requiring a full track stop, the operators have the ability to stop all the cars at once instead of risking a rider not paying attention to the lights and stopped cars. I like that some rides have a "scheduled time" for running. My family did Spin Zone spinning bumper cars together and had a blast and knew exactly how long we were going to wait instead of trying to avoid a long line of frustrated people because they had to wait for the bumper cars to get recharged.
All the ride operators we encountered were excellent to work with, explaining all safety rules clearly, making sure everyone was secure and safe, watching intently while the ride was in operation and were very compassionate with the kids when explaining to them why they could not ride for whatever safety reasons. They were very knowledgeable about their job and their interactions with the customers.
Everyone at our birthday party said they were going to go back again. Even our boys want to make this a regular monthly outing since we...
Read moreIf I could give no star I would. They only have 2 people that are certified to work the rides so the 2 people have to take turns on what ride is operable meaning your waiting around for someone to service the ride you want to ride on. There’s also no one servicing the desks I waited over 10 min at customer service and gave up. Tried the same at the bowling alley as well. It’s not that they don’t have the people because there is a lot of people walking around in staff tshirts that don’t know any answers to any questions. THEN as the last ride before leaving was the go cart rides. Our experience was terrible. My daughter who is 10 and meets the height requirement it was her first time driving in anything like this. Out of the gate she ran into the wall. Turns out it was because she couldn’t reach the peddles. They adjust her seat and start the ride again. Then a man crashes into her forcing her into the wall apparently that counts as her second crash and then they move her 2 inches away from the wall. There’s no way for her to move without bumping the wall again as the steering radius doesn’t allow her to do anything else(there is no reverse) . After that they take her out of the car and force her off the ride. They don’t tell me anything as I’m on another car. They don’t give her her purse. I pull over and ask what’s going on and they tell me she crashed 3 times and that’s it. So they left my child unaccompanied, no credit back nothing. 16 dollars for that ride between the two of us that neither of us could enjoy. Just a 10 year old in tears. We drove 2 hours to come here and will never return. Do not recommend to anyone looking for fun. If you like throwing money away and standing around...
