Nightmares and Video Games — Local services in Springfield

I have absolutely no issues with the owner or other stuff that is there more likely Wife/Family/Friends.... They are all great 👍... No issues there and they offer some of the best deals and offers and he is willing to work with you on pretty much anything that has value. Again great staff..... Now with that being said...... The quality of what he sells to you..... Well that's another story. I traded in some really cool items and traded it up for a New Nintendo 3DS XL Galaxy. It was a wonderful trade it was already modded ( I was going to do this anyways so a plus there on that). But that's where the fun stops...... The top screen had multiple scratches (about 5-6) that my blind self did not notice right away before I accepted the trade.... My fault on that.... again I did quickly I might add .. I accepted the offer..... I should have slowed down to a halt!! The game shell is severely scratched and scuffed up horribly it looks like someone took the bottom of the 3DS and scraped it along concrete again this is my fault because I failed to look at everything..... Now to the point that's NOT my fault... With every used gaming system I purchase if it takes batteries I always replace them with new batteries even if the owner says they have recently replaced it .... They know there is no sure way to check this out. So I always assume they never did and I purchased a new battery from Amazon. A few days later it arrives...... I take off the back cover to replace the battery.... And my GOD!!!! Dead roaches!!!! One was dead inside the stylus pen hole.... And a few ( all dead thank God) inside the console as I needed to check further and luckily I did I found two more dead roaches inside and roach poop everywhere yuck 🤮🤢🤮🤢.... I eventually cleaned up what I could...... Again I am not sure if the game store owner knew about this.... More likely not as when you buy something like this you don't usually take it apart to check to see what crawled inside. So I truly don't blame the game store owner but either way it's a horrible experience to experience something like this my issue is when I called the store to inform him of this issue it seemed like the game store owner felt as if I had no reason to complain because he gave me a good trade deal. He made me feel as if the trade was still good even with the issues I had. And that I have no reason to complain because it was a good trade right?? He had this priced at Almost 400 dollars!!! $385 dollars!!.... Again I guess I'm the blame because I didn't check it thoroughly before I left. I just hope this was an isolated incident and that the roaches came from the previous owner either way I hope he starts to check out the items a little better before he decides to buy. Before the buy... great excellent customer service after the buy not so much. With the roach issue in the conditioned issue this should have been 150 bucks. It took forever to carefully clean out the system. And the top screen has pixel issues. I have since replaced the top screen a very very difficult job mind you and I had to replace the top plastic screen. And I ordered a used (but much better...

My wife, children and I were very excited to make the 45 minute drive to check out this place as we have heard so many great things about the staff, inventory and business in general. We researched the hours for Sunday and made the trip only to be very disappointed that the store was closed. We gave it 15 minutes after opening time in case staff was running late and even called to no answer. Our children were very disappointed they couldn’t visit the store and we were not happy about an hour and a half round trip...

It was my first time stopping in! A nice small peaceful place with numerous collectibles and games! As a wrestling fan and an old-school gamer, I had to check this out so my family and I went down. I liked what I saw and picked up a Mattel retro Undertaker in his 1990 attire and this one.... THIS ONE.... I couldn't pass up. I scored a 1992 Boxed British Bulldog French Import Hasbro in PERFECT condition!!! I'm extremely happy with my purchases and time in there. A young lady named Grace was very friendly and a lot of help. I will DEFINITELY be in there again. 5 Stars for me....
