We had an incredible experience here! We ordered the Chick-a-dilla and brisket street tacos with a side of elote corn, and washed it all down with their house-made cherry cola. The fact that they use Luxardo cherries was “the cherry on top”.
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The bartender struck the perfect balance—friendly, witty, and engaging without ever overstepping. It was exactly the kind of conversation and energy we had been hoping for: attentive enough to make sure we were cared for, while still letting us enjoy our visit and be entertained! That’s hard to find.
Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff never let the atmosphere slip. They were transparent, reassuring, and kind—and it was clear the respect was mutual between customers and the team. The kitchen was moving at what they called a “long wait,” but honestly, we’ve waited longer in a drive-thru. Not a single person seemed frustrated, which says a lot about the way this place runs and the atmosphere they’ve created.
This spot is truly a hidden gem. The food, the drinks, the service, and the vibe all came together perfectly. We’ll...
Read moreEverything is really just okay except for the dumpster nachos, which are delicious! I usually get them to go & was just told that they can’t put the chips separate from the toppings “bc it takes too long & no one else has complained about the chips being soggy in their nachos.” Huh?!? Does anyone else get them to-go? Maybe they just don’t say anything. Every time I’ve got them to go, I’ve picked them up at the quoted time & the chips have been soggy by the time I got home (I live less than 10 minutes away.) Most to-go nachos anywhere else I’ve been always pack the chips separately, so why do I even have to ask for this as a special request? How long does it really take to throw the chips in a separate container from all the toppings? Seems like common sense to me, but what do I know? I have literally told three people to get nachos from there just today & the fact that they’re not willing to sell me nachos that won’t be soggy by the time I get home is a total disappointment. Way to drive your customer away by declining a totally...
Read moreAfter hours of driving we knew our destination and the goal was to get tacos . A quick search showed many choices. As usual the reviews and score have significant impact on where we ended up. It boiled down to one choice . With the anticipation of a smaller locally owned restaurant with a good atmosphere the Lyft driver got us there in 15 minutes from our hotel. The service was pleasant, chips and queso arrived quickly the music was perfect. 90’s and 2000’s songs played just loud enough we could hear it but not too loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. Food was plentiful , tasty and prompt. For our trip it required a return visit in the other direction so we told the employees we would return the next night . We were running extremely late and showed up 15 minutes before closing. Drinks and food were served with a smile and they allowed us to spend nearly a full hour so we could finish a couple buckets of beer ! Very accommodating for a couple of travelers from way out of town . We will return next year ! Thanks for...
