I placed an online order. Got to the next screen and it said my order has been “received” and the confirmation email will be sent.I never received the email, so I’m like okay could be a glitch because I have the order number. I was in the middle of doing something so I didn’t keep checking it every minute. My husband was ready to go pick up HIS pizza and he was going to pick up mine. I checked my email again. No email, so I called after 5 minutes waiting on hold I had to hang up and use another option to speak to someone. Finally got a hold of someone gave him my information he said he couldn’t find my order. News flash if you didn’t know it wasn’t a associate at the store it was a call center I spoke too. He said he’ll place me on hold so I can place the order. I hung up because at that point I didn’t want the order. I called my husband who was already there and he said that’s odd because they told me 5 minutes. I’m like okay, well something must’ve happened. 10 minutes goes by my husband isn’t home and he calls me. He said they don’t have my order and when he asked the guy why he say 5 minutes. The guy was like I just assumed…… my husband then asked him you looked at the screen after I gave you the name and you still told me 5 minutes. I love Papa John’s but won’t be ordering from this...
Read moreThey were so messed up. We ordered our food on the app which said it would be about an hour. Almost an hour and a half later the app said it order was delivered. I called the store and the young man who answered cut me off 3 words into my question. When I said if he would allow me to finish my question he hung up on me. I went to the store to speak to the manager and instead of listening to me she called the police. I didn't even get to explain the reason I was there. I know for a fact that when my Caucasian friend went and complained they didn't call the police, the manager attempted to deescalate the situation and have my friend an apology and a refund. So what's the difference? I found that I'm not the only person of color treated like this. I tried to call corporate and the rep must have put the phone down while I talked because the line was silent and she never came back...
