The Heritage Center of Clark County - Clark County Historical Society and Museum — Attraction in Springfield

It's not for little ones because they will get bored. I really think they should let you go around by yourself because we had a person take us around and he was only telling us the things he wanted to. He skipped over the things that the kids wanted to see. He said we could come back another time and see it. Which dissapointed the kids, because that's really what they came their to see. Outstanding museum. What a great gem located in the heart of Springfield. From the time we walked in till the time we left, the museum volunteers / docents, were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I haven't lived in this state for over 30 years, and did not realize all of the history and manufacturing that happened right here in Springfield. This is a great museum with excellent staff. The museum is decently sized consisting of two floors with four large rooms and one small room full of exhibits.
