I went in store to pay my bill and a lady with attitude yelled to sign in. When I went to sign in the computer wouldn’t go to the next page even though I kept pushing next. The lady then came over seeing I was upset over the computer not working yelling just forget putting your number in. She decided not to help me but pawn me off to another representative named Dorine. She was very helpful and a delight to be helped by. Then the original lady yelled over that she wants her to send my account to her when we get done so she can send a complaint against me to upper management. I don’t understand why they make you pay with credit card not cash but the they demand your Id. Inputting in computer front and back by phone which can lead to identity theft. It’s ok to verify my Id but why put this Id in your computer as I don’t know your safety measures on your computer. I hope a lawyer sees this post and they will put a stop to what I feel is an invasion of my rights. They get you locked in so you can’t say no because you still owe money on a phone. I do not recommend this company if you are looking to get a phone. They sneak in and take over. Update: I paid Spectrum in full on my phone so I could leave with a unlocked phone .Over $350 then at the end of the month the demand another $50 or they will send to collections.    Read moreSpectrum Internet has been going in and out since November 1st. Have had 3 guys to my house all of which ran multiple test and say my lines are good. Then they tell me it’s a main box down the street by the apartments that controls sections of the neighborhood. They can’t replace said box cause they don’t have the equipment. Won’t get the equipment til February for the Springfield area because they Started in Dayton instead. So we are just supposed to deal with having to reset our equipment 3-4 times a day some days more like 6 times until they replace that box. It’s been out at 6 am the past two mornings so I call this morning and I’m told there is a rush order on that box but have no idea when it’s going to be replaced. Asked are you going to put a note saying it’s falling out yet again and the guy says sure I can do that. Then I said I will be shopping around for different service and will be changing companies because this is ridiculous. Says alright have a nice day. They don’t even care about the customers. They want that 200 a month but can’t make sure my service is consistent. I don’t have time for this and I have assignments due every week. We can’t have tv or anything without the Internet. Technician made the connection in our home worse instead of listening to statements that the connection issue is EXTERNAL, not inside the home. Technicians do not listen to customer statements regarding connection issues. The most recent technician ignored that the service issue is EXTERNAL, yet insisted on moving the equipment inside the home. Now our connection is WORSE than it was before! Spectrum can go pound sand!!! That's the nice version.
Cannot get away from Spectrum fast enough. Absolutely TERRIBLE internet service, with multiples disruptions daily - having to reboot the router. The suggest link provided in the previous response is nothing more than a discussion board. The issue stems from a terribly weak signal outside of the home, yet the most recent technician insisted on relocating the equipment inside the home, resulting in even worse connectivity. My wife took time off from work to await the technician, who refused to listen to her insistence that the issue stemmed from OUTSIDE the home. That is where the issue is, not inside.
