The City of Springfield abandoned the park years ago. You can't even fish in 90% of the ponds. Very sad the Mayor and all park officials should be ashamed of themselves. They figured out how to make that once beautiful park trashy like the rest of Springfield now. And English is the second language in Springfield. If I was members of the Snyder family I would file a lawsuit against the city of Springfield and try to take back that property from Springfield before it's a shelter for the homeless because the border jumpers are taking all the rentals. And people who live in Springfield should look up the court dockets and you will notice that those illegal immigrants and very good people. Springfield is on a path of destruction. Congratulations to all city employees. I'm so blessed that I don't live in that trash dump any longer. And your city officials keep stealing your tax dollars for personal gains. Good luck fellow...
Read moreThis is a very large park and inside of the city and then goes from the far west side of Springfield and running down along the creek and stops on the western side of the hospital and a quick left cross the bridge over Buck Creek turn right is Cliff Park and home to the popular Summer arts festival and the Art Museum. meeting up with Mad River and on the far west side. Back to Buck Creek is a big deal for kayaking and canoeing enthusiasts a set of 2 rapids next to the art museum and down stream 4 consecutive rapids and great place for surfing. Read moreSnyder park is a beautiful park . I see many people enjoying their activities but biggest fear thete for me is the speeders i see animals and children as well adults if they can't move out of way fast enough . The roads are quite bumpy and need maintenance and of course there are animals being dumped there hoping someone may take them in .i called vets and the shelters and no one would help. The vets at least said ig they knew anyone needing they would let them know. I certainly hope that the park improves and the residents know what a diamond that park is . Right now it could be lighter for the holidays like the zoo and other areas do and charge a fee for carloads to view the holidays from their own park and not drive elsewhere to view. May everyone have Merry Christmas 🎄🎄⛄⛄ and...
