I have stopped Kroger's for years, ever since walmart got rid of a lot of their name brands and started forcing their store brands on us.
One of the two things I look for in a store is
#1=YOU HAVE WHAT I NEED WHEN I NEED IT #2=Customer service.
Number 2 makes no difference if you don't have number 1. All the friendly customer service in the world won't make up for not having what I want to purchase.
As of late I have noticed KROGER'S has been GETTING RID OF A LOT OF THE NAME BRANDS AND FORCING MORE STORE BRANDS ON US. I do like some of your store brand stuff, but I also have certain name brand things that I prefer over your store brand stuff.
For instance, I prefer Pepperidge farms all beef smoked sausage because stomach issues cause me to be extremely sensitive to other brands and I refuse to try any other brand because it usually results in 24 hrs worth of digestive misery.
When I am canning. I don't mind your store brand vinegars, but I prefer my lemon and lime juice to be RealLemon brand.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO START TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE WAL-MART TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS, FORCING YOUR STORE BRANDS ON US, I WILL GO ELSEWHERE. I DON'T NECESSARILY CARE ABOUT PRICES OR I WOULD STILL BE SHOPPING WAL-MART, BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAPER.
I want our choices back, or I will just become a Meijer customer. Their prices are more expensive than yours, but they have everything I need...

Not once did I get a call/ voicemail/ email or text discussing any other changes. I did receive the plastic dinosaurs to go on top but still. These are TWO entirely different cakes! It looks as if they forgot to make it, took a plain one trimmed in pink from the case, slapped a digital print on it and a few extras and called it a day. Not to mention having to wait five minutes to pick it up after the scheduled pick up time, which typically I donāt mind to wait. But to wait for THIS! Unfortunately I called everywhere else and obviously no one could get anything done by the birthday party. This was for a two year old and she literally stuck her finger in the cake after singing happy birthday, tried licking the frosting, she made a face and wouldnāt eat anymore. I literally have a video of it! We proceeded to cut the cake and serve it and literally outside of the one bite everyone tasted, it ALL went into the trash. Biggest waste of money. They ruined her birthday cake. Typically Iām a roll on kinda person but the decorations on the cake were enough then for it to taste awful and no one eat it was just down right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a loyal customer with Kroger for 30 years and they didn't give me my discount for the buy 5 and get $5 off even know the weekly ad and signs in the store said these items were part of the deal. The man at the counter told me the pringle chips aren't part of the deal even know they were in the ad and had signs on them in the store. He tells me they are part of the Digital Couppns which is not true. Then the man at the return counter told me that I can get my money back to exchange for the items but then this little man tells me his counter is closed and he can't do a refund. Then this little man tells me the only way I can get a refund is if I come back sometime in the next 2 weeks to exchange the items. So instead of giving me my refund, your paying this small man to stand behind the counter to not do his job and tell me lies. I'm done with Kroger. I spend $50 to $100 every week at Kroger and I'm done shopping at all Krogers. I will be happy to spend my $400 a month at Meijer and I will also be happy to take my mother to Meijer instead of Kroger so she can spend her $300 every month at Meijer instead of Kroger. That's $700 a month you just lost because Kroger doesn't know how to treat loyal...
