Hung Lung — Restaurant in Springfield

We have been going here for years. As a matter of fact 21½ years ago after we took off to Virginia to get married, when got back around 6pm or so we decided to order from Hung Lung. I think we have been going here for about 5 or 6 years even BEFORE we got married. When we order we always get the same thing every single time. Even before they had caller ID at the restaurant they would knew who I was as soon as I ordered our chicken lo mein with no veggies, just noodles & chicken, I know, I know we should get it with the veggies, but we now only get this if we're lucky 1 or 2 times a year. So why not get it the way that's truly our favorite! But anyway, that's when she knows it's us. When my husband goes & picks it up she always asks him how am I doing or if I go she asks about him & our family. We never have to check the bags before we leave the restaurant to bring it home & every single time the order is always right. The only negative thing I could even say is just like every thing else from milk, clothing to gasoline prices for every thing has sky rocketed. Their prices have to go up because prices on every thing everywhere have gone up! So when we have a bit of extra funds (which isn't very often) we get take-out Chinese Food from our most favorite Chinese Food Restaurant. We have loved this place for over 30 years(I think) & we still do & now our 2 girls love this place just as much as their mom & dad does & has for so many years! Best Chinese Food in Springfield, Ohio! I think its the best anywhere! Thank You to the owners of Hung Lung for having the best Chinese...

I ordered online like I always do and they left off one of the lo meins . This was a to go order so I never noticed it wasn't there until I got home . I called up to complain about not receiving it and the lady asked where I ordered it from and I told her and she said that they don't receive orders from that website which is where they told me to order from a year and a half ago and that I order from since that time . I know they received my order because I got all of it except for the lo mein . She said she would have a manager call me back . He gets on and informs me that it was his fault and that he would start making another one . My other food was getting cold and I would also have to use more gas to go back up and pick it up . The incompetence was overwhelming and this place will NEVER get another...

Every so often they change management and with that, the service and food is either better or worse. I decided to go here to get dinner for my family after not going for awhile. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food and service. My rice in the chicken fried rice was very mushy and not flavorful. Normally there are more vegetables in it but this time there wasn't. The General Tso was the same way. A few broccoli pieces and that was it. The woman at the counter got the order wrong and I had to double check her because apparently she doesn't know the difference between a pint and a quart. I will make the drive to the Mayflower in Urbana from now on as their food...
