I have been a once a year customer for Valentine’s flower deliveries for 5 years now and this year will be my last year doing business with the flower market . When ordering over the phone I asked what the total price was , I was told a price so I recorded it in my checkbook , then upon checking my bank account , they had charged me ten dollars over the price they had promised me over the phone . Also They also must have changed their policy on ordering for a delivery within a time window , in years past I have asked for a time window and they had always honored that at no extra charge . This year they said they would have to charge me double if I wanted a specific time . I told them I have never been charged extra for a specific time in years past and the gal stated that for the few years she had been working there they have always charged double for that... I said hmm...I have never paid double for a time window and you guys have always worked with me for no extra money for that. when I called several days later and asked for a refund of the ten dollars I was met with anger , they said “your the guy who complained and now you want to get out of paying the delivery fee? !” And I said yeah I did complain because of the past 4 years of doing business with you guys it has been different . And I said delivery fee ? I was never told that ten extra dollars would be charged to my account . I asked what the total was and they said it was 69 dollars and change and I got charged 79 dollars and change . Finally they gave the phone to a manager who said he felt sorry for me so he refunded me the ten dollars . Excuse me ? When you promise a customer something you should follow through on that promise . If they could go back and listen to their calls they would see what I am talking about yet they have made me feel like a bad guy and a second class citizen in this . Bridgette one of the managers was very rude to me , it was Valentine’s Day and my wife had left work at 4 pm and still not got her flowers delivered , I called and told them she left work and never got her flowers , Bridgette said she would see where they were or if they got delivered already, and I said they didn’t get delivered my wife never got them and if you can’t find them I want a refund . And I was met with fury by her . She said DONT EVER CALL THIS FLOWER SHOP AGAIN ! I will find your order and call you back . I said okay thanks . They called back and said they were backed up with so many orders that they hadn’t got to my wife’s work yet. My wife ended up getting her flowers delivered to our house at 6 pm . Horrible experience! I already was planning on going with a different flower shop next Valentine’s Day even if Bridgette had not gotten hostile with me .    Read moreMy boss and I have been using The Flower Market exclusively for years. Their bouquets are always beautiful. I started going to pick up flowers for him to give to his friends, dates and clients, Over the years I have found myself buying flowers for me to give to my mom, my daughter, my kids teachers etc. Of all the bouquets we have purchase we have had nothing but smiles and compliments. Just the other day we picked up an all pink one for my boss's date. People in the restaurant were stopping to make comments all night. Of course, we are happy to tell people where the flowers come from. We love the quick turnaround. We have had a couple employees need flowers for their girlfriends' birthdays and had them delivered the same day. :) Brownie points were made. I think Bridget does and awesome job and I would send anybody here that was looking for a beautiful and affordable arrangement. I usually just call in a price range and let them do what they do, and it is always perfect.
