Ocean Garden — Restaurant in Springfield

I have never eaten here before and since I was having it delivered, I found them to be only 5 min from where I was staying. I only looked at the star rating, not the reviews (my bad), but we were hungry and they were one of few places I found with Egg Foo Yung, my fav, so I figured I'd give it a shot. They got here before the scheduled delivery, which was great, however the food was a little lackluster. Egg Foo Yung was this thick pancake with very little flavor. Hardly any pork in it. Worst looking/tasting I've ever had. The chow main was very sparse on the pork, the only veggies in it were onion and celery. No snow peas, bean sprouts, or mushrooms which have been the normal mix everywhere else I've had it. Flavor was bland. There were hardly any noodles! In fact, the noodles and the gelatinous "veggies" that were in it were served separately. A small container of pan fried noodles and a double portion of the "veggies". Super disappointing. Pork fried rice was OK. Had ok flavor, but was kind of dry and again, hardly any pork. The only thing that stood out was the pot stickers. They were very good. The entire order was barely warm. Like it had sat for a while. After reading the comments, that seems to be their "MO". I figured with them only being 5 min away, things would be much hotter. I will never order from them again. I ordered today and usually this place is great but today it was awful and after the way I was spoken to and over talked when trying to explain the mishap with my order will ensure that I will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER come back. I was overcharged and given the wrong food but charged for the correct food which is mind-blowing to me. The food is meh it was my go to because it was close but from now forward I will gladly drive farther. If you value your hard earned money then I'd drive a little farther for BETTER SERVICE AND QUALITY OF FOOD. NOT TO MENTION THEY HAD A DOG IN THE KITCHEN RUNNING AROUND WHICH IS AGAINST THE HEALTH CODE. I will be calling the HEALTH DEPT. TO INFORM THEM.OF THIS ALONG WITH THE PICTURE I TOOK OF THE DOG IN THE KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention I PAID 50 DOLLARS FOR THE WRONG FOOD WRONG FOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDD. not to mention I only got food for two people and it was that much blows my mind. Plus I was told that my total was 31.28 and when I got there he charged me almost 20 dollars more with no e plantation as to why because he acted like he didn't speak English but when I called he spoke perfect English. I'd rather eat Chinese food from the frozen section at the grocery store. I have NO IDEA what any of the good reviews were about... maybe they are friends of the owners/staff... or maybe Eric Suter was onto something and these people leaving good reviews have never stepped out of Springfield and truly do not know any better. We had a family dinner... 2 egg rolls that looked like deep fried wet kitty litter. We did not even attempt to eat them. Fried Shrimp... Emphasis on the fried and way to much batter. The General Tsos Chicken was mediocre at best. I have had much better from other "not up to par" Chinese restaurants. Sesame Chicken which was basically General Tsos but with Sesame seeds. And the most disappointing part was the Pork Fried Rice... I have NEVER had bad pork fried rice. How do you screw that up?! As far as the person that said it had a great atmosphere.... BAHAHAHAHA....HA...HA! It's terrible. No effort put into atmosphere at all and overall not...
