As I have been coming to Spruce pine to lend a hand as a volunteer with the state defense force here in North Carolina, I pass this stand several times and sells beautiful trees and decided to stop. Read moreAfter reading other reviews I had high expectations of a fully stocked produce market with a wide variety of fruits and veggies. Was looking forward to Amish breads too. Unfortunately the place felt pretty sparce. The only green peppers to be seen were spoiled and I didn't see any bread at all. I'm thinking maybe I caught them on an off day (it was a Tuesday)? I was able to pick up a few of the basic things on my list and was excited to buy farm fresh eggs. The eggs and the few items I bought were very, very reasonably priced. Not been able to drop by as often this summer as i have in the past.
