Had a very poor experience with this dealership when attempting to purchase a vehicle advertised on their website. This dealership advertises on their site that 'The Price You See Advertised - Is the Price You Pay' - That was certainly NOT our experience. We were looking at a 2023 Jeep Renegade Limited that was advertised at just under $26K - also listed with only 4015 miles. We reached out to schedule a test drive and when we arrived to test drive the car, we were told that it was considered a service loaner car and currently being used by a salesperson. Once they located the car for the test drive we noticed the car actually had approx 6900 miles on the odometer. We mentioned to the salesperson that the website indicated much lower miles. They admitted that they had NOT updated their site in quite some time. After the test drive and some consideration, we indicated that we were interested in purchasing the car and asked if they could consider a lower price for the car since the mileage was higher than advertised. The salesperson and manager indicated that they believed that would be some they could consider and would most likely possible - but would need to get back to us in a couple of days as they would need to speak to their general mgr and they would be closed for the Christmas holiday and would be able to connect the general mgr until after the holiday. They promised to get back to us first thing after the holiday - that did not happen. The day after the holiday, later on that day we called to follow up (since they did not reach out to us) and got a completely rude/abrupt response that they would not consider lowering the price but actually increasing the price to $27,250 (another $1250 above the advertised price). They indicated there would be no further negotiations and pretty much told us that was the final new price. Besides being shocked at how rudely they delivered this news to use, we were disgusted and walked away. They lost a cash sale. They had updated their website with the new price but did not update the mileage of the car. Please note that as of this post, the mileage is still showing at 4015 miles. We have screen shots of the car listing prior to the price increase and after the price increase. We plan to file a claim with the BBB and dept of consumer affairs for false advertising. Just unacceptable business practices in my opinion. My recommendation to anyone working with this dealership - BEWARE! and be prepared for some questionable sales practices. BTW, we had a much better experience at Larry Roesch Jeep and I would highly recommend them. UPDATE: Received classic 'canned' review response from dealership to discuss my experience with their general mgr - A little too late - I reached out numerous times prior to writing my review and never got anyone to call me back. For starts, how about you update your website correctly and regularly - advertise your cars with the correct mileage. Second, do not advertise prices you do not plan to honor....
Read moreLess pressure or stress than ive ever experienced with the highest quality service that anyone could ever pray for. They go above and beyond and maintain positivity with a very smiley and courteous demeanor. These are the most important aspects of making a large and stressful purchase. So with that said, we just bought a very nice Expedition Platinum from these amazing people. Everyone I spoke with was extremely accommodating, patient, understanding, willing to bend over backwards to fit and suit our needs. We called before we got there because we had already picked out this very specific and seemingly rare vehicle that they had in their front line inventory, which we could not find ANYWHERE else. The price was amazing for the vehicle, literally still blows my mind to compare to other prices in its class. We did not wait around for anyone at any lengths of time. They did EVERYTHING and more that they said they were going to do, they made sure my wife and I were comfortable,as I'm sure they know it is a stressful ordeal to make a large purchase as a new car. I've dealt with some dealerships that were horrible. In comparison these folks were caring, timely, positive, friendly, and didn't once give me any "car salesman" vibes. So as far as pressure to buy, I did not feel that obligation whatsoever. My wife was treated with 100% respect and dignity and so was I. The service to the vehicle was on point. Completely tuned up, with new brakes oil, and filters all the way around, new wipers, door edge guards, wheel locks, key fob batteries replaced, and upgraded the data system updates, it was also washed and it smelled great. What more could you ask for right!?!? How about a cup of starbucks coffee while you wait!? Seriously folks, if you need a vehicle, I absolutely recommend this dealership over all others. On a less serious note the dealership is very easy to get to, and easy to access the parking lot and easy to find a person to assist you in your questions it is clean, and we'll maintained, very modern, and makes you feel like you and your presence matters. I know this is a long review but i truly had an outstanding experience. So, thank you for reading and take the time. Good luck in your car buying venture. I hope you receive the same service I did. It could not have gotton any better, easier, friendlier, more patient, or less pressure from a sales standpoint, and I have enough previous experience with other places for a realistic comparison. To end my review, this experience was nothing short of PERFECT AND COMPLETELY EXCEEDED ALL MY...
Read moreI thought I had found my new future car online, but it was a 6 hr drive away. I contacted the dealer and spoke a salesman. I explained my situation and asked for pictures and videos of the vehicle, and he gladly complied with my special requests.
I placed all my ducks in order by contacting my credit union and insurance company for the imminent purchase.
On arrival, I was gladly welcomed in a friendly manner. The vehicle was somewhat washed and parked by the front door, awaiting my inspection. It looked perfect at a distance, but then upon closer inspection, there were dents and flaws. Why was I not made aware of these.
The vehicle was only a year old with under 10k miles. Ok, some blame goes to the previous owner, but how does a dealership not fix simple issues that could cost them a sale.
Yea, I probably could have just bought the vehicle and done the approx $1000 of repairs myself, or the dealership could have done it pre-sale for a fraction of the price.
I understand it's a used vehicle and some of the repairable issues might be acceptable to others who have no problem dropping $60,000 for an already damaged semi-new vehicle but not me.
I guess the bigger issue I have is that I was not advised about the damage prior to making a 12 hr round trip. The dealer tried playing as if they were unaware of damage I easily pointed out. I'm sure they pointed out the same damaged to the previous owner when they purchased it for resale. Or maybe a simple car porter caused the damage, which the responsibility still falls on the dealership to fix the damage.
It appeared that the dealership just wanted someone to physically visit with hopes that the damage is not noticed or maybe overlooked by an impatient customer.
The truth is I probably would have happily completed the purchase if I was told ahead of time of the damage and also given a slight reduction in the asking price.
Out of principle, I chose to take the "L" and walk away. I'm writing this to hopefully save someone else from going through the same frustration I encounter today, and the 1 star is...
