Kroger — Local services in St. Johns

Vandalism (albeit minor) occurred to my vehicle on Tuesday 7/18/22. I repeatedly contacted Kroger over the next couple of days for assistance identifying the perpetrator (s). I was brushed off several times until I finally was put through with “B.” on 7/22/22.

He stated he could review cameras to see if anything was captured, but only with police involvement. I was not asking for a copy. I just wanted assistance in determining the cause of the incident (random vs. targeted because our world is unpredictable).

I am very annoyed at being brushed off in this matter. Kroger, you should care that this happened in your parking lot. If your policy is to involve the police, then by all means call them and get them involved.

I called Kroger talk to a manager about Purdue chicken that was recalled she said yes absolutely bring it back if ur not comfortable with it we will give you a refund. So I got the chicken nuggets and when I got there a male manager said nope no refund not a recall can't do anything for you even after saying I called and talked to another manager about it he was so rude just brushed it off he said did you get sick I said I never opened it bc of the recalls on Purdue chicken and I wanted my money back he once again said nope he was so disrespectful and I will never shop at Kroger again be careful of this store they lie and are very shady with things and this manager needs to be fired for refusing to take back recalled chicken it's the...

I normally shop at the Lake Lansing store and am always very happy. Because I was in the area I decided to shop this store. Being unfamiliar with the parking lot, I didn't see a cart corral. So, I put my cart in the parking space. Before we pulled away, a young man (the employee who corrals the carts) knocked on my window and scolded me for leaving my cart and not putting it in the corral. I explained that I hadn't seen one close and apologized profusely. He then told me to "Never do that again." He was very rude!
