My experience with Rustic Grain comes from their work at the Jesuit Archives & Research Center. We have a very modern building, but we still wanted tables for our patrons that had weight and warmth. Something a little more traditional than other pieces in the building, but still fitting with the overall feel.
Rustic Grain was able to create the classic library table we were envisioning! After seeing the craftsmanship of the tables, we knew that any exhibit cases we could simply purchase from a catalog would feel like an afterthought and pale in comparison to the tables. We contacted Rustic Grain again to see if they would be willing to work with us on additional pieces, and they designed and built two beautiful styles of exhibit cases.

Read moreWe just completed furninshing our lake cabin and we believed that the focal point(s) of the cabin would be either the lake view from every window, the stone fireplace or the cedar plank walls. However, people who enter the cabin first mention the unique take in the dining/great room.

Our wood began as the building material for a barn over 160 years ago in Missouri. It tells it's story through pitting and saw marks acquired over the years. Now our children and grandchildren will get to add their history to the wood. Our table is so beautifully handcrafted it will be gladly welcomed by the next generation.
