My mom (Gwen) went to the store about a month after her double mastectomy and was greeted by Brenda who proceeded to assist her in purchasing a couple of bras. She was trying to have insurance help pay for some of the cost as they are very expensive. Unfortunately, after several tries, the insurance for some reason didn't go through. My mom left sad and dejected. After a couple of hours, my mom received a call from Brenda stating that she had some good news for her and to come to the store right away. When she arrived at the store, Brenda told her that someone wanted to pay for the bras for my mom and that there would be no charge. I was very underwhelmed. I had a double mastectomy several years ago, thus already have silicone forms and bras, but wanted to pick up a couple of extra bras. The person on the phone wouldn't even speak to me without stating I had to have a prescription, there were insurance hurdles, HAD to make an appointment, yadda, yadda. I have been buying my bras from here for years. Like 15 years! This is the only place I go to actually. They sell special bras for people who have under gone certain surgeries but they also sell plus size bras. Like all the way up to N or O!
