I had a poor experience today. I brought in my 15 year old daughter to get seen for chest pain. It was all good and dandy until out of the blue, the x ray technicians showed up and entered like they were cops/detectives. The female technician refused to make eye contact with me when entering and immediately began speaking to my daughter. She abruptly turned to me and stated that she needed me to step out so she could ask my daughter some questions. The abrupt manner and tone was COMPLETELY uncalled for. She seemed to have a false sense of legal authority. I stepped out but was already upset at that point. The male technician was outside the door and I rethought my move to step out. I said why can’t I be in there?? Or something to that effect. And he said you can be in there, and opened the door. I entered but at no time was the female technician apologetic etc. She appeared rude and immature. Turns out she was a student and the male was the supervisor. After I finished reporting the incident to hospital admin, the male supervisor asked me to step out of the room so he could talk with me. The manner to which he did so was as if I was an employee who was in trouble. He said, “Did you say something.” I said, “I sure did!” And he began to excuse her behavior saying that she was a student blah blah blah. I replied with the fact that treating people with respect was a general behavior. You walk into a room you greet the people in it. The female technician seemed a little too cocky and confident in her poor behavior. We definitely don’t need those kind of people working...
Read moreWell since they decided to hang up on me I’ll post on here,TikTok and WHAS. I had a very traumatic experience Sunday morning around 730am. I came in so much pain. I could barely stand. I waited in the lobby with nobody else for about 15 minutes. The triage nurse was very clumsy and disorganized. The nurse nurse was horrible and needs a mental health check. I sat in that care room for 20-25 minutes screaming in pain. I had to crawl to the nurse button to get someone attention. When she finally answered the call she started to yell at me and told me to calm down that my pain wasn’t that serious. So I screamed back and said I was leaving. She said okay bye then we don’t need you here anyways you’re probably here for drugs anyways. So I’m still screaming in pain. As I was getting dressed they were laughing about me and making a McDonald order in the process. I heard everything they said about me. Keep in mind I did look rough because I hadn’t slept or used the bathroom in 7 days. I was in pain and miserable. As I’m limping out the building hysterically crying they are laughing at me. So as much as I needed help I drove myself to the downtown location where I was treated professionally and properly. What your staff did was not right and down right embarrassing to doctors and nurses all around. You need to reevaluate you morning team because this is the second time I’ve felt there crying. If someone doesn’t contact me or make this right I will be force to file a lawsuit and I will be posting my experience on TikTok and my YouTube channel. I have pictures,...
Read moreIn the past the level of professionalism was superb. However my experience today was horrible. Once taking back to the ER room I was asked questions by a tech. I waiting for the ultrasound for my leg. During that wait not one nurse or doctor came in. No vitals taking. So I finally went to the nurses station to inquire about my ultrasound, to ask for a Tylenol and blanket. Since no one came in the room. Never received it even after that. Thankfully the tech that took over was surprised to hear no one had been in. She was so quick to react. I am so thankful for her actions with getting me a blanket and getting the doctor on duty to come in. Her services were greatly appreciated. Once giving the discharge paperwork the diagnosis the doctor spoke with me about doesn’t match the paperwork given to me. Also the first tech never checked my vitals when I first came in. When it was time to be discharged, the second did and noticed my blood pressure was up. I stated I figured it would be considering my leg ached badly. I told her I still never received the Tylenol I asked for. Once discharged the pharmacy that I told the tech in Middletown is not the pharmacy they sent the prescriptions to. Hours sitting and watching patients leaving after extremely long wait, having to hear the nurses loud conversations. Which was a total disrespect to the patients as well as themselves. The name change makes me wonder if it did something to the level of professionalism. This was June 11, 2022 from...
