This place has a very misleading name. It is not just a plant and feed store. It is an eclectic shop, that not only feature a nice array of house plants, outdoor plants, and gardening supplies, but exotic soaps, beautiful candles, esoteric door mats, and an impressive selection of various sized glass pots from small to giant sized, amongst other things.

There were bird feeders, bird houses, and wooden bird ornaments of all various species, beautifully crafted. There was also large, flat, Bohemian- styled wall art.

This is what you must understand about this place. It is in NO way comparable to a generic mainstream planting supply such as a Home Depot.

This is a humble, quaint, eclectic shop, that features a variety of plants, planting supplies, and so many other cool things; not to mention, an amazing staff, who are friendly, and helpful. (...and if you are lucky, a cute, black, Pug with huge amber eyes named "Paco", may come out to say hello!)

I couldn't expect a better experience. One person, I wish I knew her name, spent a lot of time with me and answered numerous questions, even those not related to your plants. All the people were very helpful, frequently asking if they could find something for me? One gentleman even went to get a cart and put all my plants in it with out being asked. My father would go here while he was alive and bought enough items to supply the whole neighborhood. I hadn't been here for years and decided to come last year. You have the most variety of plants any where. Not one of my plants died last year. I called last year with numerous and you guys answered every one. I was told that this was your 100th year. I wish...

Love this place! The owner, who is a local person is on sight most of the time is super knowledgeable, her permanent staff are very educated in their area - seeds - grass for all types of sun, a bird expert to help in seeds for every bird, a manager who can help with any plant - placement, indoor, feeding schedule, so many young men and women who help seasonally, many year after year.

Also so many unusual plants, pumpkins, Christmas tress, herbs, color crops, my list could go on and on. And I love the fact that is locally owned, not a big box store.
