Hard to find soft serve in the area, decided to try mister softee tonight. The soft serve tasted moldy, as if the machine had not been cleaned properly or possibly contaminated. My husband had cookie monster, the cookie pieces were dry and nearly turned to dust when he tried to eat them. He also stated that the ice cream did not taste fresh. We LOVE Mister Softee of Manahawkin! It is my boys favorite ice cream shop in town; they ask for it often, but we only allow for it occasionally. We have declared this the best soft serve in NJ! We drove by and the line was wrapped around the store, so we knew it must be good.
