J.R helped us pick out our new sectional, bed set, and mattress. He was professional, patient, and not pushy! We looked at all the memory foam mattresses even tempurpedic and he wasnāt trying to push the most expensive or even one specific brand. Since we currently have a therapedic and was in between that and a purple mattress, he advised to get the therapedic since we currently have one and love itā and if we donāt like it after 30 days, we can just pay the return fee and get the purple mattress since itās a greater value. I feel like he had our best interests in mind and got us the best price possible. :)
Update: I still stand by J.R being a great sales rep. However this specific locations customer service is TERRIBLE . We got a living room set and bed set plus new mattress and frame. Didnāt even get the bed setāthe bed and nightstand were delayed by 3 weeks & the dresser was damaged upon arrival before they even brought it up my stairs. The delivery guys caught it and took pics and took care of it before I even knew it was damaged, which I appreciated. However the delays and damaged products isnāt even my issue.
After the delivery guys left with the damaged dresser, I called and requested a quote of price difference for the chest instead of dresser because i was contemplating getting the chest anyways and since it was damaged and never got delivered, i thought it was a sign to get the chest. and although the chest itself is $100 cheaper compared to the dresser AND you only save $50 by getting the furniture in a package vs by the piece, she said it would be $250 more. But how?šššš how would it be $250 more. Even if you reconstructed the package and just sold me everything by the piece (even tho it still wouldnāt make sense bc the chest is $100 cheaperā¦.) I didnāt think it would be more than $50. Idk how they got $250. Sounds fishy to me. Anyways so I thought it through for a few days and I was going to call and speak with JR himself but honestly this has become too much of a hassle and weāre already in our new place with just a mattress and frame ⦠with no sense of accommodation or concern from the employees. VERY annoying.
Then⦠I called to cancel the whole bedroom order. The guy who answered and completed the cancellation was completely unprofessional, rude, and just had no customer service skills. He literally sounded like a high school student that just didnāt care about anything . I could barely understand him he was mumbling so badly. Also sounded like he wasnāt even sure of the specific amounts, I had to clarify multiple times and he had zero confidence. He said he would send an email with the amounts but of course Iāve yet to see it. Iāll just need to call their overall customer service dept to make sure this was even taken care of properly.
Basically, if there are no issues with your furniture and delivery then I think youāre good to go. But the second thereās any damages pre-delivery or delays, your experience will go down hill. Iāve gotten multiple mattresses, living room sets, and bed sets from here and this will be my last time doing...

Francisco was amazing, patient, respectful, and knowledgeable sales person on the floor. I encourage him to find employment elsewhere where he is respected.
Salim was the second sales and was awesome as well. Very kind, patient, and respectful.
We looked at a couch yesterday, salesman was awesome and was very helpful. I knew he would be off the next day.
I checked the competition and after checking, I opted to go with Rooms to go.
I knew that the salesman that helped us was off the next day but did not want to have a possible delay because maybe 5 more people come in a buy the same couch and push my delivery date back.
I returned the next day and a new salesman helped me. I explained that I want to ensure the initial salesman shares in the commission as this was fair. I even had to discuss this with the manager, demanding that the initial salesman received credit as well. The initial salesman and the new salesman should share the commission.
The manager said itās company policy and it would not be shared. It would go to the new salesman and the initial salesman would get nothing.
The manager I talked with said the initial employee should have given me his personnel cell number and ask him to come on in on his days off to make the sale. This showed complete disregard to honor and respect a employees time off. If this is how corporate and the local management treat their sales team, they will have a scared and beat down staff.ā, managing with a iron fist,
I honestly wish I would have left.
The new salesman was also very kind, professional, and helpful. However, Rooms To Go company policy I 100% disagree with and I find this extremely dishonest and horrible to their employees to be treated this way.
Should someone at Rooms To Go corporate actually read my review, I challenge them to reach out to me and should they change this policy, Iāll give a higher rating.

They were so quick to roll out the false red carpet treatment when you go there to get you to buy whatever they want then try to upell you on accessories and when you say you dont want it they try to pull something else out their pocket to try and sell you and dont get me started on their disgustingly rude and incompitent contractors for delivery who refused to provide their name but were 2 Rooms To Go contractors as they had the companmy logo on their uniform and truck. I went to purchace a matress and and we were promised that the old one would be taken no questions were asked by the salesman and he didnt tell use any policies on them taking old furniture he seemed more keen on the sale and trying to get his commission than anything else. When those contractors came and delivered the matress which was in my home they and told me they they cant take my old matress because of a old stain and that upset me because I was not told that and was promised they would take the old mattress and when adressing them about it at that point Im trying to call the salesman because of whats going on, they then decided to start to try to steal the mattress which I already paid for so I had to rush to hold the mattress outside and threatening That I will call the police for theft which scared them to try and get away as soon and fast as possible. The contractors didn't even provide an invoice or something to sign saying the delivery is completed. Everything is recorded on my ring doorbell which I am more than happy to provide as evidence to the horendous experience which is Rooms To Go. The same salesman and store manage just kept throwing empty apologies since thats probably all they were trained on which isnt going to solve my issue and have poor customer service they just seemed to want keep provideing excuse after excuse isnstead of assisting in customer issues. Please change the company name to Rooms to Go Somewhere Else because that is what I will be doing and making sure everone I know...
