I could not vouch for this place enough. Seriously.
Verizon products are verizon products. Nothing you can really do there. This store has a great selection of phones, devices, and accessories. But that is not where it shines.
The staff here really makes is worthwhile. The store manager (as well as the rest of the employees) are amazing. The usual "they are nice" and "they know the products" is certainly true but it is more than that. Here are some examples of what I mean:
I bought a galaxy s7 a few weeks ago. Looking at my bill after, I realized there were some issues with it. I went in the store to see if the staff could help me get to the bottom of it and they sat on the phone with me as we called verizon and helped get things resolved. They didnt have to do this. I wasnt buying anything in the store at the time. They did this because they knew I was a customer in the past and wanted to help me.
Couple weeks later: Long story short, I didnt have my phone and I needed one. I walked into the store and asked for help. The staff set me up with a temporary phone, free of charge, and backed it up with all of my contacts.
The basic point here is that these are nice, smart people who will do common sense things to get you what you need. No bureaucracy. No BS. Unfortunately, this is refreshing these days.
Give these people your business. Build a relationship. You...

I clearly communicated to Abi, the store manager, that I currently had service with T-Mobile and all I want is a free iPhone and paying not more than my T-Mobile monthly bill. Not only did I not get a free iphone but my promotion was not even the best deal at the time, it was 600 only when they had 1000 promo available. I was willing to trade in my old phone but he said no need and can give me a free new phone. Additionally, we were given an iPad without explaining that it wasnāt free and that there were monthly payments and charges for having it. Very poor communication skills. Absolutely no conversation was had with the store manager regarding the finances of the iPad.
We went to the Stamford Verizon corporate store to have them fix the phone promotion. When we mentioned we had a horrible experience with a Verizon franchise in Stamford, they immediately guessed the location we had been going to, as many customers of Hope Street go to the corporate office with similar complaints of āHope Stāās notorious sales fraudulent tactics. I would not recommend to anyone to go to Verizon Hope Street. After reading many of the complaints on this location, I can see Iām not alone as many of my complaints have occurred with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey're somewhat friendly and know how to write up a nice big bill and connect your phone to the Verizon carrier. They just don't know very basic stuff about the products they sell. That's about all I can say good about this place. Advice, make sure you know well in advance everything about the phone you want to purchase, including how to set up your emails, because they aren't very skilled, knowledgeable or capable and will sell you a phone you really don't need, that's way too advanced and too good for a persons first phone in spite of me explaining well in advance and several times to the sales kid who this new phone was going to be for. Other stores will give you a full refund upto 30 days after the sale. Not this place, they force us to loose $150 dollars penalty for being dissatisfied. Even if we will buy a different phone instead, they still demand a penalty fee of $150 dollars which is outrageous. I could understand $10-30 dollars but $150 no way. I would avoid this place like the plague and go to an official Verizon store, not a privately owned place like this is.They also are having great difficulty giving receipts. Normal places are happy to give both an email reciept and a paper receipt. Basically, they don't really care about...
