Love the yogurts ! Mango and lemon are my favorites. I discovered in OJai and went every weekend. Now back in LA I was going to Melrose every Sunday and went to the marina one yesterday. I was shocked to find that vendors at Melrose changed the price to 3 for $18. Thank goodness MDR did not as they are still 3 for $15. Way more reasonable and fair and grateful they are sticking to that price. I think Iāll go there Saturdays now. I didnāt love the fig and berries as much I couldnāt taste the fruit but the mango and lemon and coffee are great. Iāve also tried their competition- Brothers products. I will be honest and say they have more rich, creamier and flavorful fruit taste to the products. BUT the ingredients are not as healthy. There is a sneaky yogurt ingredient in brothers that is not great for you and brothers hummus has canola oil. Moms products has healthier ingredients. They use olive oil in hummus instead of canola oil. Canola oil is not good for you. Iām just curious what happened at the Melrose farmers market. Itās not just their booth that raised the price. All the yogurt / hummus brands brothers, bonjour and moms did. Nevertheless - I still find loyalty to moms. I believe they came before brothers anyways. I would suppose moms as brothers kind of seem to steal the idea- even the labels are similar and I donāt want to support that type of competition. Def go moms products. Itās cleaner...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought their products at a Farmerās Market and Iāve been hooked since! The Kitchen sink is absolutely delicious, and Iām in love with their Red Pepper Hummus. I appreciate that there is no dairy in the Hummus I enjoyed, as I have a dairy intolerance. They have great whole wheat pita bread too. Not every dip is to my liking, in that some I prefer over others, but they are all fresh and they have āenjoy byā dates and I have been told when to eat them by, and they are definitely worth trying out until you find the bunch that you will enjoy, again and again. Try not to eat the whole thing in one night, I dare you! Like Uter from the Simpsons denying himself chocolate, is me trying to deny myself the pleasure of scarfing down their 5 star, homemade hummus. And if you donāt like it, let them know! I know theyād be happy to get you something you do like, because Iāve met them before and theyāre a nice family business who want nothing more than to provide great customer service with a fantastic set of products. Try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love, love, love their products! Best hummus and homemade yogurts ever! Super creamy hummus with great flavors and amazingly rich and creamy yogurts, also in many flavors. They also have feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, garbanzo crackers (they are delish), and all sorts of Mediterranean baked goods! I'm so in love and so is my tummy! I am now a devoted follower at the DTLA farmer's market on 7th & Fig on Thursdays! And the guy who runs the stand is such a kind and generous soul, I know that he will always be blessed and rewarded for his wonderful spirit! :) Thank you to the entire family who...
