Brazils Waxing Center — Local services in Statesboro

I loved Brazils Waxing Center, but I have cancelled my membership. I started at Brazils early 2023. My first wax experience was great. The customer service was outstanding and everyone made me comfortable. Getting a Brazilian wax is very intimate, so comfort and customer service is important for a women like myself. My technician left after a few months, and I enjoyed her waxing style and customer service, yet I remained loyal to the company. Since my first technician, I’ve had 5 technicians. In December, I finally decided that I would part ways peacefully, since I prefer to find a company who is more consistent with WHO provides the service. Having to constantly introduce your private area to a new technician is ridiculous to me, my opinion. I sent a professional email to cancel my service on 12/16/23. I was told over the phone that I would need to submit a 30 day notice. I agreed to this policy; I followed with no pushback. Therefore, my last service would be in January. I was charged on 01/02/24 for membership fees. I never received a response about my membership cancellation from December, so I decided to send a follow up Email on 01/20/24 (no response), and called on 01/24/24 to follow up. My membership was canceled on the day of the call. I had my final appointment today with a NEW technician. The 6th one!!!! Her waxing style wasn’t what I was used to. It was painful, and I was extremely frustrated. No biggie; I’m thinking…this is my last time. At checkout, I was told that I owed fifty something dollars for the service. Remember, I was charged on 01/02/24. The receptionist immediately proceeded to call a customer service representative. I spent a few minutes advocating for myself because I knew this wasn’t right! They eventually agreed with me and allowed me to leave. No apology or anything! I am completely dissatisfied with Brazils Waxing Center. I will no longer refer customers here. If you don’t mind a new technician every month or every other month, no response via email, no courtesy calls about technician changes, please sign up for the membership. My friend referred this center and this was my first experience getting waxed. This establishment is clean and set up sorta like a Doctor’s office. The rooms are very private and the chair/table in the rooms are like a doctors chair/table but comfier, sanitized, and lined with paper. The waiting area chairs are comfy. The staff are welcoming. I met Don the district manager. She was so personable, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Kaitlyn waxed me. She was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. Which was refreshing because, like I mentioned before, it was my first time. I definitely did research before booking an appt. (I highly recommend doing that btw just to have a good idea of what to expect) Kaitlyn walked me through the process as she went along and she worked quickly but not to the point of making me feel rushed. The waxing wasn’t too painful. The pain only lasts a couple seconds then subsides. Overall, I had a great experience! I even signed up for a membership due to my pleasant experience! •• I wish I could give this business 10 STARS! •• I went to Brazil’s to get my first Brazilian wax as well as my eyebrows! I’m actually not from Statesboro, I live about two hours away— so I was here completely unaware if my experience would be good or not! And let me tell you, this experience was AMAZING. Linda— did both my brows and Brazilian wax, and I felt very comfortable the entire time. She was very much keen on holding conversations and making me feel like I was with someone I could trust since I am very sensitive about my body. Afterwards, she made sure I was good to go with pricing, I gave her a sweet tip since she definitely deserved it, and went on home! Very nice, quick, suitable, clean, experience and establishment for someone who is curious to get their first! ALSO— the prices are so generous.
