Where do I begin......Landon Weaver is GOD SENT.
I had been without access to my phone number since September 12th. I had few bugs took it to Apple, they fixed bugs. Took straight to Verizon on Robert C. Daniel in Augusta, GA and let me just say from that moment until I dropped by Verizon in Statesboro, GA on October 3rd I could not make calls on my phone number, check emails, get calls, etc. Verizon People Named Marcus and Jennifer, Jennifer being a manager at Verizon in Augusta, GA store said that is was Apple that messed up my phone. NO, it wasn't and that the pending work order just had to work itself out before they could do anything.
Well let me tell you that is not the case.......
Do not ever let a representative at VERIZON tell you that a pending work order cannot be taken off............ YES it can.
These people at Robert C. Daniel Ruined my life for over 3 weeks, missed a wedding I was suppose to be at, had to pay the Hotel bill for that wedding as well all Because they could not figure out how to do their job.
Landon at the Verizon in Statesboro, he being a college junior at Georgia Southern and had only been at Verizon for a month had my phone completely fixed within 1 1/2 hours. You can't imagine how happy I was to have my life back.
Not only that, as I was being helped he proceeded to help 3 other customers that came in solve their issues.
As I was waiting I saw several Yellow Sticky notes on his desk and I asked him what those were. He proceeded to tell me that those are people he is calling back now that his store was up and running from the storm. He was actually calling customers back to help them. ACTUALLY CALLING THEM BACK!
Not only did Verizon @Robert C. Daniel in Augusta, GA not help me, the Verizon In Evans, GA told me I needed to go back to Robert C. Daniel since they were helping me previously. They would not even try to help. But you have this exemplary employee that has only been there a month that is solving problems that others at Verizon say are impossible to do. They are just not doing their job and do not care.
Landon Weaver on the other hand cares and is about helping and solving the issue. This is the kind of employee that needs to be working there not so much like that people at the Augusta, Georgia Verizon store or the Evans, Georgia Verizon store. They actually call themselves MANAGERS as well. You guys should be higly ashamed of who you call Managers.
Kyle Gardner
Again, Landon Weaver thank you so much...
Read moreMake sure that before you deal with this store on E.Kennedy Street in Statesboro Georgia that you read the reviews on their Facebook page. It is listed under TCC Verizon Kennedy St., Statesboro, GA. There are several complaints of shady behavior very similar to mine. My son was given a “FREE” tablet when he purchased his phone.. When my bill came I was charged for the tablet , an activation fee and a fee for a monthly service. I complain to corporate Verizon. They agreed I should not have been charged. They told me I could take the tablet back to the store and my account would be credited for everything concerning the tablet. My son tried to take the tablet back . The district manager , Travis was very rude and told him he would not take the tablet back unless we were willing to pay $75 restocking fee and a $50 fee for a discount that my son supposedly got when he got his phone. I spoke with Travis and told him that corporate told me to tell him to review the notes on my account . Verizon had offered what was called a force buy out and I would not be charged anything . He reviewed the notes and he still refused to let my son return the tablet without charge. He told me that corporate did not have any business telling me what to do with his store. I ask him to speak to his manager and he said he did not answer to anyone. I could not complain to anyone but him, he made all the final decisions. I told my son to take the tablet and leave the store. I called corporate again and complained about this district manager’s rude and hostile behavior . I explained that he refused to take the tablet back.In the end Verizon sent me a written apology. Told me they appreciated my 10 years of loyal service to Verizon. They sent me a confirmation that I would receive the tablet for free and would credit any charges on my account for anything pertaining to the tablet. I am making a formal complaint to Verizon about this store and this district managers rude behavior.. In my 10 years of being a loyal customer with Verizon I have never been treated so rudely and so disrespectful. This store is only an authorized dealer for Verizon. I have been sure to let Verizon know that this particular store is treating Verizon’s customers poorly and They are a bad example for Verizon. I have also sent a message to TCC Verizon.I am awaiting a...
Read moreHad I read the negative reviews I wouldn’t have gone to this store. The only reason they deserve a “1” is that I accept some responsibility for not insisting on reading the entire contracts/agreements/bill estimate before leaving the store. All I was shown was a small signature screen with a couple of lines and was told to sign as a service agreement. The only document I saw was their “check off list” which didn’t accurately represent what I was actually getting. My phone was damaged and I needed another phone immediately. I only had about an hour to spent on the transaction so I opted to trust the assoc, Carlos. Big mistake. Carlos was very pleasant and greeted me immediately when I entered the store. He spoke very fast and difficult to follow at times so I did ask many questions. I received a hard sale of bundling my iPhone purchase with the iPad. He deceived me about the value of the iPad, ($800) and It’s capabilities. The next day, after researching the device I discovered it could be purchased for $329 and I looked at it and saw that all it was was a large phone with a quarter of the gigs that my new iPhone 8 has. I had also been deceived about its capabilities. I became upset. I also checked my account online at Verizon to read the agreements/contracts/summary and became even more concerned. There were five different service summaries; four of which were for one line. They were all different. Plus I didn’t see the $200 discount for the iPad on the bill estimate. There was a discount for $104. The “sign off” sheet that I initialed clearly stated $200. There were multiple issues which I won’t go into but BUYER BEWARE about this store! After returning to the store and arguing with employees, I was able to return the iPad but I was still charged a $75 restocking fee even though the transaction occurred less than 24 hours earlier and the plastic covering was still in tact, the charger had not been removed from the box and it hadn’t been setup. I will be contacting corporate and the better business bureau about this store practices. There were multiple complaints about Carlos in the reviews yet he still works there. His techniques must be making them a...
