Response: 1. I brought the guitar June 26, 2021. It was a Saturday. I work Monday to Friday and so the date 7/6/21 that you said is Tuesday. Nobody said 6 weeks of waiting, I have waited 7 weeks and you are saying that I have to wait 2 more weeks? And yes, the person on the phone yelled me, as other customer have writting in other reviews, the service on the phone was horrible. The person was very rude! Bring my Guitar!!!!
Unfortunately I seem to have lost an acoustic guitar that I took to that store for repair. The repair consisted of seeing if the guitar headstock could be glued in, I just wanted to know an estimate of the cost of the repair, but they couldn't tell me until they took the instrument to the technician. I asked them if they could send pictures to him to get an idea, but they said they couldn't do that because it would be better if they checked it out in person. About two weeks after calling to ask if they had a price I started to notice them getting annoyed telling me that they would call me back, which they did not. Then I called them again and they told me that the price for repair was around $300 which I thought was too high, I said that I was not going to do the repair because it had been too long and I could take it somewhere else. It has been two months now and every time I call to ask for my guitar they say I have to wait, the last time the man in the store yelled at me over the phone saying that they will bring the guitar when they want it because it is more than an hour away. Anyway, I lost my instrument. They do not want to return it and behaved...
Read moreLast week I was on a family visit to Statesboro. A friend of mine Steve, who knew I was in the market for a new acoustic guitar, said let’s go by DeLoach’s Music and check out some guitars. I met Wendell, Brandon and Nathan in the store. They were very helpful and accommodating. They put several guitars in my hands all tuned up and ready for me to try them out. They answered all my questions and made some suggestions for me to try. After playing a bunch of different guitars, we ended up leaving the store without making a purchase. I had decided what I liked, but just could not make myself commit to the purchase. Wendell thanked me for coming and told me to let him know if he could help me in any way. I thought about it overnight and went back to DeLoach’s the next day and purchased my new Martin D-18 Modern Deluxe. The price was good and the customer service was excellent. Wendell and Brandon made the purchase of my new guitar an absolute pleasure. I felt like a V.I.P. when I left the store both days. I look forward to visiting DeLoach’s Music store every time I visit Statesboro in the future. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase a guitar or...
Read moreI came across De Loach's Music on Reverb while looking for a double cutaway telecaster. They had one in stock and are only about 45 minutes away so I sent a message via Reverb to make sure they still had it in stock. The reply of yes came back very quickly and I made the drive to check out the guitar. They are a Mesa Boogie dealer so I was able to play through an Express Plus 5:50 which is the amp I use. I ended up buying the guitar. I was pretty sure I was going to buy it before I played it but you never know.
The shop was really nice and so was the owner. Loaded with guitars and amplifiers. They also had both a Boogie JP2C and a TC50 along with several Boogie cabs. I played thru both of those but let before I fell in love with the TC50. I've already talked myself out of buying one several months ago. I don't need to go through that again. There was another room I didn't go into that looked to have percussion in it.
The music stores in Savannah don't really seem to have much to offer that I'm interested in but De Loach's was packed with things that caught my eye. Next time I'm looking for something to buy I will definitely give this...
