Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Statesboro

Normally I would be raving about good food great value, however on my latest trip I was disappointed. To start they only accept cash, no cards. Now this has changed a few times over the years but now they have gone back to cash only so be prepared. Next before yesterday I have never had an issue but this time was different. The wontons were chewy, more jerky like. And the fried rice was just rice and seemed to have been the last of a batch that sat around for a little too long. It also seems the sauces were sweeter than ever before. Maybe that's what folks like but not me. I say these things because in 20+ years this truly was the first time I was disappointed. This place has been around for many years, including when I was a student at GSU (2002) and now that my daughter is a student there, each time I visit her in Statesboro, it is a must that I order carry out from this business! The food is phenomenal, but the service and the location aren't the best (not very inviting). My favorite dish is the "Shrimp Fried Rice." They offer generous portions and their hours are super convenient. The only downfall is that they don't accept debit cards so be sure to carry cash if you plan on ordering from this...
