Super honest review from a super pregnant woman

Background: i live out of town but my besties live around here. We were walking around and saw this little shop. (The bubble machine and bathtub peaked my curiosity so i had to investigate). When we went up the stairs i knew i was going to love everything about the shop. You can immediately feel the calm energy. It is clean, bright, organized, friendly, & quiet. There are samples available (which is what lead me to get the product i did) and everyone, including the owner was so nice.

On to the actual review: i purchased the flannel body frosting because it smells so good! But I'll be honest, i had purchased a few knick knacks that weekend and i had forgotten about it once i got it home and in my bathroom. Well a month or two went by, and my belly got bigger and bigger, and regular lotion was just not cutting it. I opened my cabinet determined to find SOMETHING that would take away the "itchies" and it was like the God's themselves were shinning a light on this little jar. I slathered it all over my belly and chest, and immediately found relief. But it didn't stop there. This stuff stayed on my skin moisturizing it all. day. long. No more itchy skin. And it smells so so good.

Regrettably, i am now almost out of my little godsend jar, but i am pretty sure they ship so I'm not too worried. I will also be picking up a jar for my friend who is 1.5 months behind me. I feel like it is a must for anyone who has a growing belly or itchy...

It all started with iridescent soap bubbles rising from a window on the upper floor, which caught our attention. They lead us inside a building where the Essentially Zen store is located. What a great idea! Walking up the stairs we passed a lady, paper bags in hand, who urged us to check out the store. Well, were we ever on our way to an amazing shopping experience. Located in beautiful, funky downtown Staunton, Va., in a historic building, the store is very tastefully decorated with exposed brick walls and wooden display shelves exuding a rustic elegance. The store boasts a wide range of handmade, healthy, organic products designed for a holistic feel-good experience. The award winning body frosting comes in a variety of luscious scents and leaves you feeling rejuvenated, just what I needed to keep my winter skin in check. They also offer a large selection of skilfully crafted artisan soaps, among other wonderful products. Sherrie, she owner, is an amazing human being, very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure meeting her. I know from personal experience that she goes above and beyond when it comes to providing excellent customer service. I came across this quaint shop while visiting Staunton during the Queen City Mischief and Magic festival. I looked around and found they have product that is unscented or as they like to call it "naked". I was so thrilled as I never get to shop, for myself, in these kind of stores. Naturally I bought something, the naked Body Frosting. I loved it so much, I came back a few days later to buy more to "stock up" as I live out of town. This place is a gem for people with skin sensitives. Also, while I was there, I bought a few things for my nieces. I ask the gentleman, which I later learned was the owner's husband, if he could bag them separate, he said of course. When he came back, not only did he separated them, he boxed them up, simple, yet beautifully. My girls loved their frog soaps and glitter filled bath bombs. It's the little things like this that make this place stand out. This shop will always be on my list of places to visit when I come back...
