I’ve been a patron of this store for the last five years, since moving to the area, shopping there at least twice a month. I like the wine section, there’s a nice variety. I will miss shopping there.

On August 23, I stopped in to purchase two cigars to celebrate a birthday. Upon getting them home, I opened one, cut it and as I was about to light it, noticed the end of the stick was dried out. I looked at the second cigar and it was dried out as well. I called the store and talked to a nice woman, told her the cigars I just purchased are dried out and that I would like to exchange them. She said ok, bring them back the next day, that she and the manager would be there. I could not come the next day so I went Monday, 8/25 and was told the manager was not there to come back the next day. I went back on 8/26, asked for the manager, started telling him what happened and he immediately starts shaking his head. He basically blamed me for causing the cigars to dry out. He said other people don’t have problems with their cigars. I’ve bought cigars from there before and never had a problem but THIS time I did! He reluctantly let me exchange the cigars but I’ve decided I will no longer patronize this store after this man questioned my integrity. I’ll stick...

Their selection is the best and prices are decent. I live in Chicago and stop here when I'm visiting family in Park Forest or Crete. Pricewise, everything is about 2 to 3 dollars less, maybe more,, then I get in the city and with no tax. As an example, my ready made margarita is 23 bucks in the city, and here it is 18. The location itself has an old south burbs vibe that reminds me of old-school south Chicagoland. I grew up around here and it has that feel. Only issue was I was being followed by an employee....everyone does not steal. If I wasn't for a long term employees attitude I would have left the products purchased there...there are better options. The stars are for the female employee who assisted me in locating what I was looking for other than that I would have given it one star (and that would have been for the building) due to the male employee following me through...
