Maurices — Local services in Sterling

Entered the store at 6:05 pm. This store doesn’t close until 8 pm. No greeting of any sorts, three girls on staff, two up front and one in the back getting read to leave I assume because she left soon after I came in. One girl was sitting on the cash wrap working on paperwork presumably (she also never spoke a word to me) , the other girl was leaning against the cash wrap and was on her phone. No help or customer service at all. I was only approached by the one girl who put her phone down to point out sales and to push their credit card (which I stated I already had). Tried on a pair of shoes and one girls said “oh your feet look too big in those!” (I wear a size 6 1/2 in women’s shoes, tried on the 6….) personally I didn’t think so at all. I ended up buying a t-shirt and sunglasses. The girl who was on her phone tried once again to push their credit card on me as I was checking out. Clearly they don’t care about how their customers are treated, interacted with, or if they actually sell anything. Worst customer service ever, entitled, lazy, snooty girls working, who clearly didn’t know how customer service nor just being kind to someone works. Won’t ever shop here again! I was told that it used to be such a great store with so much energy. Clearly it’s not anymore. I was warned about this particular store, should have listened. Stay away from...

I have been shopping at this store for years, I'm a cardholder since 2013. I have ALWAYS encountered bright, happy, helpful store associates in the Sterling store. However, with that said, I am horrified at how I have been treated by one of the newer store "managers" named Emily. She is rude, arrogant, and overbearing, and the entire overall happy "feel" to this store is gone now that she's there. She needs extensive training on her interpersonal skills with customers bc her terrible treatment of not only me, but as I watched and observed her interactions with other customers as well, was appalling! As long as Emily is there at this local Maurice's, I won't be shopping there. Over the years I've spent tens of thousands of dollars there - I'll not spend another dime at that store as long as Emily is still...

First time in this store and I couldn’t believe the sales. Jessica helped me find wool hats, wool socks and 9 shirts/sweaters/jackets. Thank you for a great find. Staff was helpful and kind and friendly....
