Logan County Burrito Company — Restaurant in Sterling

USED TO be a great place - one of my faves!! However over the last several months, quality has steadily declined. Last night was the kicker - won't go back again. The guy left one of the tortillas in the warmer so long that by the time I got it home to eat it it was crunchy. The beans, well you couldn't really call them that. They were just mush. Overcooked to the point of looking like literal dog vomit in the container. The shredded beef - what they gave me of it - was ice cold. Used to be big burritos too, now it was about the size of an average Taco Bell garbage burrito. Used to take two hands to eat, now I could hold it in one with my fingers overlapping. My son's chicken burrito was just as bad. Most of the entire meal, over $50, went in the trash. Very disappointing. Like I say used to be one of my favorite places, now it's crossed off the list for good. Got too big for their britches, thought they were good, so they cut corners. Now they suck. Sad.

Oh, plus, I had started the order on DoorDash first, and it came to over $80. Had an errand to run so decided to cancel the DoorDash, and go into the store, and it came to about half of what he charges on DoorDash. Number one now that's against doordash rules, number two that's just bad business. The owner even admitted to me that he charges extra on DoorDash, So he's very aware that he is a thief basically. Very sad that this guy is running his business into the ground in a small town where he could thrive. Never again. I won't waste my money...

Ordered two burritos through doordash, spent extra for extra ingredients and special preparation, received ice cold food without even basic ingredients (only rice and beans, no cheese or meat or any other ingredients), extras not accounted for, and then they not only picked up their phone and hung up on me multiple times as I called, but upon driving to get my meal replaced in person, they have left a note that they chose to close and leave, citing a close time prior to when we received our "food". Doordash says they'll review it in the next 2-4 weeks, but I wanted to take the time to make sure a proper review was left in the meantime. I'm now out over $60 with no...

My boyfriend and I are from our of state and originally planned on eating at taco bell.. found out taco bell was permanently closed. Looked up places around us and came across this gem!

Simple menu with a lot of different variations on your creation of what you want to eat. Everything thing was super fresh, the gal that helped me had glasses and looked young. She was extremely helpful for my first time being there and friendly. Kudos to her!
