Planet Fitness be advised your authorization for debiting funds out of my account has been revoked. I canceled my membership before the Jan 17, 2021, due date yet my account was still charged for Feb 2021. Greed is the primary reason I left PF. The fact that you charged a full year for 9 months of service is petty at best. Worse yet the Steubenville, Oh, store constantly had problems with the showers; at least any time I attempted to use them. It seemed the hot and cold was not mixing properly with no resolve in the near future. Be advised your authorization for debiting funds out of my account has been revoked.

In response to your reply, I did cancel before the 10th of the month. I asked if I owed anything and was told no. I asked to have the document printed and was told I'd receive a copy via email soon. Said document arrived on Jan 11th after 4pm. Let's say I did cancel on the 16th, it does not matter you don't get to charge for another month when my account is paid in full and I cancel. This just goes to show how petty and greed Planet Fitness is. Why was I not asked to pay at the time I canceled? Oh, right because I canceled before the 10th of the month. Petty and GREEDY, is that what you want to be known as? Planet Fitness denied access for over 90 days yet still feels justified in charging a yearly fee. Ok, don't bother to refund 3 months of the yearly fee and use that to pay off any debt you think I owe. I wish I did not renew Apr 2020, all things considered. Love this gym! Been coming here for a few months now and the staff here is truly outstanding. Noah (most especially), Jenna, Lexie, Shannon and the rest always warmly greet us with friendly smiles and small talk and truly make us feel like they are always happy to see us. They are always on standby ready to help or assist anyone who needs it. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked. The paper towel dispensers and sanitizer bottles are always plentious. The classes with the fitness trainer Lexie are always fun and challenging. Appreciate how she keeps the classes exciting by switching things up each time so it's not repetitive and boring. Always anticipate what new and exciting things she will be having us do at every event, which keeps it interesting. Love the black card benefits and all other benefits combined including the competitive prices when comparing other local gyms and the services they offer. They will charge your card that you initially used when signing up in the beginning, MONTHS LATER for 3 TIMES THE AMOUNT that was supposed to be the "agreement" and ALL AT ONCE! So i call the location to talk to management because they charged me over $400 for "my membership" on a debit card that I haven't even had any money on in 4 months!! I try to explain to the lady I could NOT afford this right now as I'm a mom of 3 kids that is trying to keep my expenses afloat as is! 😔The lady couldn't do ANYTHING else with my account or about it being charged all that $ but did mention she would release the pending charge but if the bank doesn't release it in time and the charge goes through then I'm pretty much screwed!
